has anybody had any luck with there starviews yet? downlading the 4.55 version? it wont work for me.

hi can someone point me in the right direction in order to updating new software onto my eurovox max red box. is it on 4sharing? and if so which file needs to be downloaded as there are a few different types? do i need to download some other software in order to get the box software working?

HI Lads,
I have had my Box Super for about 6 months and never an issue, never had to download anything change codes etc etc..
On Tuesday it got stuck on 'data is being updated' so I rescanned all the channels and left it overnght. It eventually got all the channes back but now i have the same problem.
I have done everything step by step, the EMU is ON and I have set the default key many times nd left it on S*y Sports but it has been stuck on the 0% for about half hour..
Its a Starview 3 Super and I am in Dublin N*L...
Help mush appreciated

Hi, taken your advice and got the the usb the box super today, plugged it in and away i went, i had sound but no picture on some channels, switched on/off at the back a couple of time and now okay, fingers crossed. no emu with this box or haven,t found it ? any advice with this box appreciated.

There is, it is called believe it or not keycode, and you will find a couple of help files in Eamo's FTA Library, and also a little help at the link 2nd line at bottom marked Starview.

You will need the UK fix for your box, they have done over there what they done in the uk see here first post. >>>>>>>>>

malci i wonder if you can help me. I was looking for the replay lite forum which i see was closed because of there being over 240 pages to it, would you know if a new one was set up and i'm just not finding it. If so would you have the link. I know this is the forum for the starview. Tks

Can somebody please help me because i'm getting really frustrated with the box and i'm running out of patience flicking through pages here and getting no answers.
Okay, so i have the box, i'm in the west of ireland and the only channels i have are RTE one, city channel and a couple of other random channels. It went on 16/12/2008. When i go on the other channels it saya data is being updated 0% but it stays that way.

Evening all.
Have downloaded the new firmware for a starview 1 and I loaded it with GTROMv4.00. Its all up and running again. Can anyone tell me if the data in the system settings should change? ie. API ver, Boot ver and tha date that goes with. May thanks to all that have helped with the new fix. To all those that wont bother looking back even a couple of pages.... give them a break

chaps...hoping for guidance.Flashed a Eurovox V with wrong firmware. All im getting now is 4 green lights and and a red standby and no response to PC >can I assume I have bricked it?

Not too sure with a eurovox but with the starview I had to hit the download on the loader and turn on at the back of the box at the same time. U may have to alternate the timing but always hitting the loader button first.
Hope it helps a bit,

Lads thanks for all the help today. Got my starview 1 up and running ok. Now have a problem with my starview 2 the box. I cant download the .RAR file. It only downlads the web page not the file. Any ideas................

For everyone tlkin about "the box". we need to download new uk versions. there available at eamos fta library. ive beem trying since this morning. my problem is the loader box has no stb number so i havnt a clue what i can do. appreciate any help.

hey is everyone having fun tonight??iv done about ten boxes today but they've all been supers...my mate has come in with two genuines and i can't seem to get the first one to work...when i go to sly sports or two it updates to maybe 150% or 200% but then it sticks...any ideas??
live a little...you cant be old and wise if youre never young and crazy!
