@ blacGoku, how the hell you figure piracy is what makes the price of the PS3 $600? You must not know anything about technology and its prices. The $600 is basically all for raw materials (cost of the chips, boards, drives, etc) which are state of the art and are not even on the market yet. The technology is so advanced Sony is taking a loss. You must be one of those prudes who never takes chances in life and never lives on the edge. You telling me when someone shells out $600, they cannot tinker with something THEY OWN? Its none of yours or anybody elses business what a person does with their goods, weather they want to share software of backup a $60 game. You're an ignorant fool if you believe that "piracy" really drives up prices high, because the real cause is CORPORATE GREED! The day Microsoft and movie industries stop posting multibillion dollar profits is the day I'll consider not to backup my files and software. Besides, take a look at the forum you are in! If you're just going to talk trash expect the same right back f***er!

@blacGoku you are wrong.You said nothing about piracy except you last bit.They are not the same modding the system and piracy are way different.In part your right anti-piracy DOES give more cost to the system but not as much as you may think.Don't mind sam805236.

his comments weren't even directed towards anyone and that was uncalled for. im not arguing with anyone or taking sides but tycobb is in the right. the console forums can be ugly at times and this isn't helping any. i think you should edit and reword your post directed at blacGoku and rethink how you may want to address members in the future. also when you put an emphasis on a certain word or sentence, try to make sure you spell it correctly, otherwise you look silly ("FREE SPEACH BUDDY!").
ANYWAY besides for all this, this thread should probably close. the system isn't even out yet and it is a bit too early to be talking about backups. lets wait for it to release first ;)

I have no drama against people backing up games they have , thats just that . I just think sony needs our support thats all so im going to buy games and support them with the ps3. I know they are going to suffer a nice loss with all the money they put inside ,they already have law suits and this and that and people hatin with the rumble joystick . All im saying is they need our support ,Im all for modding but they are not. I do belive we should be able to back up our on games without all the risk. chances (brushes off shoulder)im a hustler man ,ive had close calls with death so gone with that man!! . back to the ps3 subject, i heard off a website a few weeks ago (later confirmed by one of my friends), that the ps3's main board, motherboard or dashboard isnt really compatibal with the grapics card :? how they make that mistake.
edit : i cant seem to get the quotes right iv tried 'repairing them' but it wont change its stayin the same :( ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.

Like half a year ago, these forums were so sick, full of senior members etc contributing to a common goal! No wonder people are visiting here less and less!

ok remember that some people use proxy tricks so that they either give a fake ip adress or iv seen programs that makes your ip adress change every min :O
