john5 : it makes it hard to have everyting in quote so r u having issues burning the aid3 disc or do know where to start?

i.........um i burned the disc using this tutorial. GUS let me know if this is correct, http://www.aideluxe.com/modules.php?name=Manuals&file=aid30-03#chapter , ok so i have my xbox soft modded (evox) and has NOTHING, skins apps, emmulators. etc... i popped the DVD-R (AID 3) and nothing happens, just this menu,

i hope ANYONE can help me, i tried to show everyone what im seeing, so i can get the best help. so what do i do now?

first of all .... once you put aid 3 try lauching it . if it doesnt reconised it then you burned it to a cdr which most likely ur xbox drive doesnt reconise so burn it to a cdrw or DVDR peace
delete the pix i saw waht i needed to see. oh and i would install unleash x insted of evox evo is gay ... and the dash's always go on E on sid 4 and 4.5 system

Yeah, I have AID 3.0 on CD-R and it read on my xbox. I followed the tutorial which involved using AUF and using AR and used the game save. I there loaded mission etc. I made the AID on a CD-R and it read.
Anyway, I just modded my friends box with this tutorial and it worked but how do I go about putting apps like xbmc etc? I put in the AID disc (CD-R) and it didnt work so Ill try and use a DVD_R. But how do I install Linux on this xbox using this tutorial.....
I got hoes rushing me without the Tag Spray On!!
I can kill a Deer or Buffalo with just my arrow and my Hickory Bow! From a 100 yards dont you know! I do It all the time!!

you got me confused.....
in short if your xbox is unmodded AID will NOT work because its not hacked = no unsgied code allowed
xbox modded but not reading cd-r? then your xbox drive is a thompson and cdr wont work try DVDR
to install apps run aid 3 choose the app from the list and install the appt to E , F g depending on what you want.
want to update your softmod ? install the linux files from the advance section then back out and install ms dash to C ... or parimary dash , reboot and pop game and mod .
im sure this answerd ur questeion-

sorry u guys, but heres the prob, i uninstalled evo and installed unleash, and, it looks better, i have AID 3 on a DVD-R
but heres what goes wrong:
i click launch dvd

very very simple fact that you burned the disc wrong . this looks like you burned it as a data disc i belive , burn it as ISO IMAGE file .
wha burnning pc program are you using?
ADDED delete pix
EACH xbox dvd drive is diffrent theirs 3 XBOX DVD DRIVES... thompson phillps and samsung tompson does NOT read cd-r while a phillps reads cdr and samsung reads all disc formats ( well all that are needed)

ahaha yea i did burn it as a data. im using Nero 7 PREMIUM, i will burn with DVD Decrypter, hopefully this will work, umm is it possible to burn with Nero?? as an iso, or only DVD Decrypter?? thanks gus, and my dvd rom drive is a samsung

quick question i wanted to back up my games so i need to softmod my xbox first, but where do i get the AR cd?? is there somewhere that its located or purchased just unsure about that part.

@smash22 even if you get the cd free on the internet you WILL still need the usb to mem card adapter ( included in the ar kit pakage) and the 8mb mem card ( included in the ar kit) so for $30 i think this deftinally is useful and does pay up for what it does ....
gamestop eb games circuit city and any other video game retailer has it or check out codejunkies.com
@john5 lmao thats why it doesnt boot data disc???? it clearly says on manuel iso image file . yea any program works with iso's ( it just the burning method that matters) samsung has 2 little holes on the tray . ( google for more info on xbox dvd drives)
a'ri guys no more into detailed on aid 3 only on the sid

Sorry I confused you, it is kind of confusing but what Im saying is..I got this tutorial to work on my friends xbox perfectly fine. It plays backed up games but will not play DVD movies, back-up or original. He also doesn have any apps like XBMC. I know all of that is on the AID but do I need or is the linux files already on the xbox? I remember when I did my mod using AUF and AR that I remember the linux penguin at the top of my screen and stuff loading down the page but this hasnt happened on this xbox and there isnt any Ltools, or anything. He cant even burn disc to harddrive. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

It asks you where you want to put them, but the best place would obviously be in E:\ but just choose E and it will do the rest for you.
