Blade - House Of Chthon is a 11 GB movie.I manage to rip it to my hard drive with anydvd without any problems. After ripping it,movie is 3.07GB.I played it from my computer and of course it loops.I then burned it to a DVD-RW,then i ran the dvdrw through ripit4me.I did this because you cant just take a movie from your computer and use ripit4me.Anyway,ripit4me did take some useless crap off the movie, however it still loops. The whole movie is there,i can see this by using dvd shrink.I also notice that alot of the VTS's are doubled or even tripled on the disc. However i see this broken in less than a week.I write this for other peeps that, want to try this method, just to say you time.

I disagree with your assessment of the length. I ripped and burned it to a DVD-R, but the result was extremely poor video. The audio was great. The DVD-r was a 1.0 disc. couldn't get anything else to encode and burn all the way through.

the extremely poor video is the result of the original poor quality video of the dvd.
blade house of chthon looks like a street dub.
i make better backups than that movie.

How many times does Creaky need to make the warning? I suspect he may start getting serious.

No, it doesn't work for me. The time you're specifying is from Title 10, correct? I see it display as 1:01:47. This is not the movie, but special features.

I'm just a newbee, but it appears that the moderator"creaky" doesn't need to be in the position he's in. Whom ever is in charge should take administration action against "creaky". He has no business to be in the position he has acquired. I'm at the point that this Forum Issue should be put to rest forever. It's a done deal!

nah, I can understand his position, its not legal to do that so hes just trying to keep the fourm on "legal topic" its basicly don't ask don't tell.
I just didn't like being accused of not buying a dvd just because I mentiioned i got it at blockbuster video (the assumption was I rented it rather then purchased it) BUT the mod was NOT the one who made that assumption anyway

my immediate response is this:
forums are a way of sharing news on related topics and if not for this or other threads like it we would not have gathered the knowledge we needed to get past the brick walls we sometimes face.
please dont close the thread it is still usefull.

i agree, i should be given medication and restrained. But until then, why is it only the people who post strangely and sometimes incoherently (such as a few of your posts) who say such bizarre things.
Are you quite finished now, as this thread is not about my being on the run from Donald Pleasance in 'Halloween', but about Blade House of Chthon..

i have dvd95 copy..hardly ever use it..i will try it though..& the movie did play in my other dvd player..when you hit the display button it shows the movie is in title 2..this is some serious protection because when played on my computer when i go to select a scene it shows the scene breakdowns but then shuts down..but when played on my stand alone dvd player it shows the scene breakdown...then it does some sort of pause (i guess it's checking something) then it actually goes on and doesn't shutdown...go figure!!
