If this is true, its good news.
Also, apparently Brawl has been released in Taiwan.
Would the NA stand for North America?

Wow this is some really great news, because I thought that NA you put stood for Not Answered. Now that I know that it is North America, this means that all of us with NTSC US Wiis will have a great time being able to finally play this game.
Also, did your friends wii every have any problems with the update or anything like the game freezing while playing on the US Wii?

What do you mean the vortex demo...I was under the impression that it was a fake(mario strikers). Was there ever a real demo out?

Currently we've only heard from a chinese website and gamefaqs posters on the topic so nobody really knows. But I fully expect an ISO to hit the net sometime today so we might know by tonight.

Heres his post :I'm very happy to say that I have gotten the copy (real one from Japan), they hit store shelves about a day early and has just arrived with my really fast expresso shipping (cost me 72.89). I was pretty happy when I recieved it in the mail and quickly put it in my Wii, after about 30 seconds of waiting, I took the disc out. From there, I tried my own experience. I popped in the Configuration Disc, and turned my disc speed to 3X and still left region override on. I restarted the console and put in the old SMG update disc (1.9g) when it said "Put in Super Mario Galaxy." I put in SMG but then quickly swapped it with Brawl. I was supprised! I thought I was just fooling around to make it work, but it did! Too bad I won't be home for now. Work >.>

I still can't find a genuine torrent. I found one called "[PRDX] Dairanto Smash Bros. X [Super Smash Bros. Brawl][NTSC-J][No-DEMO].rar" which seemed promising but there are no seeders and all peers are stuck at 38.2%, and on another site I found it on it said "100% fake, seeder in Spanish".

No, just put the Super Mario Galaxy in the Wii (so long as it's the same region).

No, just put the Super Mario Galaxy in the Wii (so long as it's the same region).
so what you're saying is that i just have to get hold of a copy of SMG (PAL - i have a PAL console) and put it in my wii, and i don't have to run the update again or anything?
