it still doesnt make sence to me why they couldnt include the atv because ive seen plenty of mods with it in their working just fine but whatever i guess it just wasnt good enought for the game.

well Bungie is infamous for putting some things in only single player, and/or not deciding to add stuff that wouldve been great for the game. i think they are saving all of the great ideas for halo 3 since it will end the saga. for example, you could fly the banshee in halo 1 campaign mode but not multiplayer unless you got a patch.
_im not in denial. im just very selective about which reality i choose_

The main reason they didn't try too hard to get it in was probably just that it didn't fit the Halo universe. If you've seen the vids of it, MC is almost bigger than the vehicle itself. An ATV has no military purpose; it's just a scaled down Warthog, so it didn't fill a need. Bungie doesn't just throw stuff in because it looks cool, it has to serve a purpose and fit in with the universe they've created.

I mean in a sitting position on the vehicle (i.e. torso and up). But that's a stupid and irrelevant point, so I don't know why: a) you brought it up, and b) why I'm bothering to respond to it. The issue is whether or not the ATV should be in the game, not how big someone is compared to it.

I dont even know why we are debating about the ralevancy between the size of humans to the size of ATVs, so lets just talk about Halo 3, oh and yes i think the ATV should be put in Halo 3, along with some of the other "cut out" vehicles from Halo 2 (you people with the limited edition Halo 2 will know what i mean....)

1. find an image you want
2. edit it so your names in it
3. upload it for free to an upload site
4. put it in your sig
To all the people who say that the ATV should have been in Halo 2, your wrong. Just think of all the missions in Halo 2. Can you see a need to have the UNSC to personnaly send you an ATV for purpose, it just doesnt work. And If you think "well then then should have put it in multiplayer", your wrong again, you cant put a vehicle/weapon/item in that isnt in campaign, its just silly.

im prety sure it does physics. where do you get your stuff? and the extra space of bluray can always come in handy. i never used to fill up a dvd and now its commonplace. games are getting larger and it would be nice to say couple doom 3 with doom the movie as a hybrid bluray or something. another advantage bluray has is it can output in 1080p, unlike HD-DVD.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yeah games are getting to big now.
the xbox 360 live arcade games are so small, theres that marble one, and the grapics on that are pritty amaysing and thats only 30 mb.
why cant xbox 360 games compressthem like that?. and maby make the grapics a bit better ect.

chances are is its smaler because the game needs few textures and uses the same things alot. and i just looked up this game, and guess what? it was a Mac exclusive for awhile. mac ps and linus have the gold version, t360 has the ultra version which is the same with better graphics. ive played the gold version thru all the way, and its fun but everything looks the same.
oh what other game was always going to be a Mac exclusive? halo. it was already made and packaged when ms stepped in, threw the mac version out, and stole it for xbox.

I wish people would stop presenting Microsoft in a bad light when Halo is concerned. If Microsoft didnt buy it off Apple then we wouldnt have the game we have today. If youve ever seen the footage of what it was like on the Mac then you will know that Microsoft invested a lot of time and money into Halo, and it simply wouldnt be such a great game with out Microsofts intervention. I mean, did anyone actually know anything about Halo when it was being developed for the Mac, most people wouldnt have.

dRD, owner and chief admin of this site, is the one with "I hate titles". He changed it to that because he's tired of folks bellyaching and whining about titles. There's been talk of doing away with titles altogether and I'm a big proponent of doing just that because I see way too many people who care more about their title than actually helping around here.
