@AlanNguye- Its true, I am using DevHook 0.52 w/ 3.03 emulation.
I have 1.5 FW, after I install DevHook 0.51 from the link above (Auomatic Install), how do I go ahead in playing the game? Just place the iso in X/GAME folder? sorry for the dumb ques.

Create a folder called ISO in the root of the memory stick, ISO's go in there.

I dont think so, just update ur psp from 1.5 to 3.03 OE C and youll be able to run psp/ps1 games. its actually much better/easier/faster. to run a psp game all you would do is go into game then scroll down to memory stick hit x and your game will show up, while in DH you would have to turn on dh then pick game and restart w/e. get 3.03 oe c youll be glad you did!

no devhook does not psx games.

vineet381 after you used the Auomatic Install did you install the 3.01 or 3.02 FW?
The iso game go in a ISO folder in your MS root.
STheog did you search for help? Look at the last page here and you will see my Devhook v52(3.03 FW) install tutorial with No flashing.
repsaj no devhook can not play psx games.(only 3.03 OE-C or the new 3.10 OE-A)

Guys I have a question in regards to devhook, I recently installed devhook by following one of the tutorials on the site, I've been tryin to use the UMD dumps from fastloader (which I was previously using) however I"ve been told for higher verison games on a version 1.5 PSP i should use devhook. The problem is however, none of the games that I dumped with fastloader show up on devhook, would someone please assist me in figuring out the reason that this may be occuring and please help me in fixing the problem in the most timely and efficient manner.

Hey can dark alex's custom firmware 3.03 play nes emulator or is it only good for psp and ps1? if it does play nes which program do i use kxploit isnt right is it?

Davidowen this is not a custom firmware thread.(only for Devhook)
Search for a 3.03 OE-C or 3.10 OE-A thread.
Yes you can use 99% of all kxploit homebrews.(like an NES emu)
look in the Readme. The kxploit go in the GAME150 folder and the ones for OE(not kxploit) go in the GAME folder.

hi guys i might sound stupid but im facing a dilemma, id be grateful if somebody helped me out. my psp was originally a ta-082 2.71fw psp but i used the darkalex downgrader to downgrade it 1.50fw now i need help what do i do? which devhook do i install, i dont want to flash anything anymore as that might cause it to brick it was a risk using the downgrader but thankgod it didnt brick but i dont wanna take any chance like that again that is the reason im not upgrading the
3.02-c custom fw or w.e. All i need to knw is how to install devhook on my psp fw 1.50 ta-082 and play isos from it. can anyone who is helping give me the links and tell me which devhook to use and how, thanks a lot. my email is [removed]

Hey I have a ta-82 and i just downgraded to 1.50 then right after that upgraded to dark alex custom firmware and it didnt brick my psp so you may just wanna go for it.
But what you can do is get the ultimate installer for devhook because that just puts devhook on your psp 1.50 for you then you just put your game .iso 's into the iso folder
I dont have a link for the devhook ultimate installer but im sure if you search for it you will find it, i know it works good

hey sorry to ask something you have probably answered a hundred times but my eyes hurt and my brain stings from reading about psp hacks. i have a japenese psp 1.50 I've had it a few days I got devhook 4.6 running well and find it all very easy but now I'm looking at 3.02 OE-A. should I use that? what does it do? I don't really need to play homebrew as in old snes games or playstation (all though it is cool) i just want to play free psp games also i use a mac so having to re install every time is tricky is there a devhook/hack that stays on the psp? sorry if I'm in the wrong place this is my first post anywhere ever cheers

triedtobe The custom firmware your talking about in my opinion is way nice and more convenient then original devhook, with it you can still play homebrew like snes and so on and with it you can still play your psp iso's but you dont have to go into the devhook menu and all that the psp games just show up under memory stick in the game column it is much more user friendly

hey thx a lot of a ur help juan it worked, 1 more thing now that i am actually playing the cso and iso games i am experiencing a problem. they are very laggy is this normal? i played pro evo 6 and it was lagging the players were moving slow etc...i would be very grateful if some one told me why this happens and is there a way too fix it?

ward84 it's the same for all games.
naverick if the games are laggy it can be because they are .cso(only some games are laggy)
so try to make it in to an iso.(with UMDgen)
or use 333 CPU speed(press Home for the Devhook menu) in the psp menu

Hi Guys,
I'm a Noob sorry.
Having a problem with my Devhook 0.51 and wondered if anyone could help me out please? I've had a look on the forum and can't find an anser to this.
Everything works fine except that I seem to lose the text/font which asks me to save or continue etc. All I get is a black screen and can make out the 'O' and 'X' and move the selector along, but that's it :(
Any help would be appreciated.

Bleech I think they are bugs that DHv51 has. Try to update to DHv52(3.03 FW) look back 1 or 2 pages here for my tutorial
