not use devhook, u dont need any loader with OE firmware.

I installed Devhook 0.51 Beta, and when I try to Run NFL Street 3.cso, I get about 4/5 lines of text in the top left corner, then the screen turns black and after about 30-40 seconds my PSP turns off. Any solutions?

i now have my 1.5 firmwire psp with dev hooh .46 hybrid
i bought GTA vice city stories original
it wants to update to 2.81
can i still run the game without mucking up the firwire?
through dev hook or wil i have to re downgrade my psp?

hage it takes you back to the menu screen of the FW you installed.(that is ok) now go to the UMD ican and that will be the game.

godofhell and Milan99 you did not install Devhook how it need to be installed that is why it feezes. Go back some pages here and look for my DHv52 turorial.

dana2006 why don't you use Hen-D and DHv51.01?(I do not know if DHv52 works with Hen-D) or Downgrade your psp to 1.5 then update to 3.03 OE-C.
If 2.71 is not working then you do not have the 2.71 FW files that DH need.(look in dh\271) Is it like 15mb?
Don't upgrade to 3.02 and you do not need to get rid of all the stuff that is already on your psp.
newgen06 and all people that what to use DHv52 with out flashing.
(and look in the Readme for more info)
Here is my Devhook v52(3.03 FW) install tutorial with No flashing.
1.Copy the devhook 0.52 package to the root of your memory stick. This would be ms0:/ and the three folders should be "dh", "PSP" and "fbm".
2.Download the 3.03 update.(eboot)
3.Get PSARDumper(that can dump 3.03 FW) by Team C+D
4.Extract the DATA.PSAR from the 3.03 update you've downloaded with a program such as PBP Unpacker or PSP Brew (a PC app)
5.Once thats done, copy the DATA.PSAR over to the root of your memory stick.
6.Run PSARDumper on your PSP, once its loaded up press X to dump a sigchecked 3.03. Once its done your PSP will return to the main menu.
7.Open up your memory stick, you will now see that there is an "F0" folder in the root. Move that to the "303" folder inside of "dh".
8.Then get a flash1 folder from a 2.71 FW dump(271) that you had in DHv46 and rename it to f1. and put the f1 in the 303 folder that has the f0 of the 3.03 FW you dumped.
9.Launch up devhook and choose "FIRMWARE" from the devhook menu and pick 3.03. Now start devhook.
Note that if you used a previous devhook version that installed
to flash1, you should use the "uninstall DH files from flash1" option before doing this.(Launch up devhook and go to "FLASH ROM" settings)
Hi juan2320, I followed this guide you wrote and it works great! Thanks for the guide, its great but it was a bit hard to find through all these other posts. Problem is, for future knowledge, how do I uninstall it? the last DevHook had an uninstaller but I couldn't find one here.
sorry if the answer is a simple matter of locate and delete files.

hi.
what i am gonn ask is not regarding what is being discussed here but i am new to this forum and search so far has beared no results. i want a converter to convert video files to the format for PSP and i wanted to ask will video files work with PSP firmware of 1.50. could someone post the link for the converter. thanks

I've got a Devhook problem! Okay, there's a new Devhook. It's called Devhook 0.52.0100 and it allows firmware 3.11 emulation. I have a 2.71 firmware PSP and I don't want to take the risk of downgrading. I normally use Devhook 0.46 for 2.71 to emulate 1.5 and Devhook 0.51 BETA for 2.71 to emulate 3.02. Now that I've heard that a new Devhook for 1.5 could emulate 3.11, I wanted to try it. So I used Devhook 0.46 for 2.71 to emulate 1.5, then I loaded Devhook 0.52 and for firmware set 3.11 and I set the settings and flashed some Devhook files to the PSP. After I did this, I pressed Start Devhook. I see white writing at the top left corner and a firmware loads up, unfortunately it was my emulated 1.5. I think I've found the problem to why I can't emulate 3.11 in my emulated 1.5. When I press Start Devhook and I see the white writing in the top left, it says DH version : 0.46 but when I look at videos of Devhook 0.52 working, at the top left it says DH version : 0.52.0000. Is there anyway I can emulate 3.11 in an emulated version of 1.50? I would be so grateful if you could help me.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

downgrading will be your best bet. but it could be because you have to flash certain files, but it wont flash them there because the firmware is emulated and running from MS instead of flash.

it basically runs 3.11 firmware from the memory stick.....something you cant use because ur at 3.11 official.
