this place wouldn't be around than. imagine 12 to 16yr olds as moderators & what they are like on the streets now, it would be total chaos!!!

I think dela was 16 or 17 when he became a mod. If they are mature enough, knowledgeable and are committed to maintaining the forums I don't see why they couldn't be good mods.

@kinza - you really 14, cus you don't come across as such, either in your knowledge of PC's or the way you phrase things. One of the reasons i stay out of the more PC-related or gaming forums is down to the way younger prople tend to speak, ie the one line comments/outbursts/plus the 'way' they speak. i guess i'm just old fashioned but the way some of them type in posts the way we all do in mobile fone texts is just wrong!

My vote goes to Crusador7 if he ever becomes active again! <G>
Actually there are several quality folks here that should be considered as Mods...and all of those are aD addicts at this time and have been here for quite sometime and are in random order:

For example ScubaPete is a household name here on aD and one of the originators of most of the guides we all learned from. There is some serious talent listed in the names above!!!

Well who ever the next mod is please make sure that he/she actually looks at all of the forums/threads, because i have never seen a mod on the ps3/xbox360 threads, or the psp threads, so please get one soon, i am tired of all the unstabilty there,, its crazy. so my vote goes to some one who is always on the gaming forums, even though it full of kids, you need some kind of control down there.

I agree with you to some degree but you should also consider that on a site this size it's simply not practical for a mod to read every post in every topic. They also rely on users reporting offending posts. That is a function available to many of us now.
