I used dvdfab decrypter that is still being updated on occasion, followed by Vob Blanker. Then open it with DVD Shrink and burn with DVD Decrypter. I had 0 problems.

Hope this helps

Got it working,

Those trying to rip for AutoGK usage.

1. Rip the sucker with RipIt4Me

2. Use one click should work fine if options are correctly checked and you have FixVTS and DVDShrink installed.

3. Download and install imgburn picked up from where DVDDecrypter left off great application and hell of a guy to continue development of part it which really I suppose is the important part being that macrovision is basically comprimised anyways with the elder versions.

4. Follow the guide to building the ISO which is posted here which is basically select build mode then locate the directory where video_ts for you're movie is stored then locate a directory where you wish to save you're ISO.

5. Mount the image in a drive emulator

6. Open DVDDecrypter and select the virtual drive where you're ISO is mounted.

7. Select IFO mode and then Rip the DVD

8. Load in AutoGK and encode.

Not a Detailed guide but for those who have used and have a basic understanding of windows and windows software they will pick it up.

I can confirm that there are sometimes issues with ripping the inital rip buffer overflow error may occur simply retry it will rip follow the guide IMHO the best software to use is the free easy stuff RipIt4Me.

Everything has its advantages I suppose but if I had a choice to pay for freeware when I have the money to donate or pay for something right then when you need it no matter what I'd donate for a better cause such as freeware.

If the drive is external unplug usb cable and plug it back in ...

If not then you may have several drives and need to possibly select the drive in DVDDecrypter that contains the movie as it may not be detecting the correct drive.

Finally it could be a defective drive or defective disc try another disc or try another drive.

I am unaware of any copy protection preventing a DVDROM from displaying that a disc is indeed in the drive.

It could also be a windows error restart you're PC with no discs in it then place the DVD in the drive.

well, I restarted my computer without any discs in it and it still didn't work. I only have one dvd-rom and it's a multi recorder. I guess it's gotta be the disc that's defective. I wil try to see if I can get another one. If it turns out that it's not the disc then what do you think it might since since it does play other dvds except for this one? ok thanks

Is the disc dirty, smudged, or scratched?

Does the movie play in a standalone dvd player?

Your AnyDVD needs updated, latest version is 6.0.5.0. This version fixes a bug in 6.0.4.5 that causes some DVD's to loop.

I see that you guys are having problems burning sony movies....... Just use DVDFab Decrypter first to decrypt it (store it in your pc's hard drive) and then use Nero, imgburn or any pc -> dvd software to burn it to a blank dvd.

I think it's just the damn dvd disc that messed up. I'm going to get another one and see if it the disc or my dvd rom might just be out of date. It's was made in 2004. I'm openh to any suggestions. thanks
