We should first start with cleaning your hard drive. When you're ready, let us know.

Careful kiddies, the Rahstyle may bite!

And don't miss the dolphin show with their trainer, Dialysis!

Somewhere by the barn is the almost natural habitat of 7thsinger...careful where you step!

As I understand it, Locoeng gives each dolle the benediction with a dose of "Old Spice"

Its a good thing that I didn't try comedy as my career choice, because I really suck at it.

@iluvendo
According to 7thsinger that stuff is terribly painful on the skin.

Why would 7thsinger use "that stuff,ie Old Spice" (as hawked by Locoeng on his wothless Loco Doll's) on his skin ?

Okay first off you guys gave me all sorts of wrong information..

and by the way i fixed it.. now my dvd rom and my 840b writer is working.. and on top o fthat i went to new egg and purchased a 1040 writer external.. for no reason.. cuz my burner wasnt working.. i simply when to the driver properties and enabled burn!!!

I forgot how to get there.. but.. theres an options.. where it asks you if you want to enable "burning for the drive" and it wasnt checked.. so all i did was clicked it and enabled burning on the 840b drive

and upgraded my nero.. to 8.6.3.0

and now all my drives are working...

man why didnt you guys tell me to do that in the first place instead of making me think my burner was bad.. and i had to buy a new one..

now im stuck with a extra burner

I'm glad you solved your own problem, yes at times you might get the wrong info especially if you ask for the wrong info, you were kinda flying all over the place, but I'm not here to bash you but I will tell you the truth, you have a harsh way of asking for support, if I may ask how old are you, cause you do sound very young, and in my youth I to was a little bit naive and a wise guy to so to speek, but we live and learn and so will you.

I give you credit cause you didnt give up, you raised some of the members hackles on this thread lol but in the end you won out so good for you.

Plus in your own little way you just learned something and so did I, if this ever happins to me or another member your solution will be the first one to look at.

Man 1st you was'nt told anything wrong. Trying to get information from you was next to inpossible. Your DMA was turned off. You was eating up somewhere around 78% of your phycial memory. These are just a few facts I remeber off the top of my head. I dont think you fixed all that just enabling burn. And I think you just fixed this and 2 day you was confussed on a simple instruction on "chose uninstall then reboot". I recall a few types people tried to get you to forget about a new burner for a second and resolve 1 problem at a time. Matter of fact I think I could quote myself on saying you stand a good on having the same issues with the new burner if you dont lower your memory load and get your ide setting right. What is it thats so hard for ou to understand that controler is transfering data from point A to point B. The way your setup you had major bottlenecks not to mention your running in PIO and on less than 25% memory.
I'll take that 1040E off your hands to go with my others. I like em myself. The tray sounds rather weak when its opening, but I can live w/ them. Cant wait to finely get some 20X media just to see if it can do it and how the burn turns out. Now you have a booktype supportive burner. I like the little things you might not never know it but that overburn will save you a couple disc in the long run.

I don't have a recording tab for any of my burners. I turned off Windows burning app through Administrative tools. I only use burning programs that I have installed. I can't remember the last time I had a bad burn. I keep my OS CLEAN and I mean CLEAN!.
