game save progress point and the linux otherwise error 21 comes up if all files arent required . i just dont remember but isnt splite cell 1 file ???? well check well as you need all files otherwise error 21 will keep on coming , and its temporarly and it doesnt break it if this keeps on coming up

ok good tut but when i click on check poitns all i get is a black screen im using SID 4 wit action replay and the installer all perfect lined up wit the pics and all i get is a black screen for n/a am i doing something wrong i followed ure tut excatly. i have tryed sid 2 itools krayzie almost everything. plz help

if you get this issue on most mods then you can either be using an old ms dash or the game and mod tools dont match ( diffrent region or platinum hits) theirs several things to be determine

ok so ur NTSC non platinum and getting a black screen all of times when ever you get sid 4 ( both files) and proper ones?

Ok so I got past the point where I was having a problem and now I have ran into a second problem I try to back up the MS Dash but it tells me there were modded files found if this is a problem is there a way to remove the modded files so that I can continue forward

yes im using the NTSC and non platinum im using the most recent versoins of the dler and profile (1.3 and 1.7)

It's under settings in UnleashX, so I would think that is where it also is, for EvoX. Your talking about the LED on front, right?
I just checked and it is in System Settings, then under system, it says LED Color and you can customize that. I think they are all default, by default. Hope this helps.

iPirate : evox has settings mess with them until u find your answer sorry its been so long since i'v used evox sorry but it sucks so yea its lame , but i wouldnt recommend changing the circle led cuz that way you can know when red = modded green = safe for xbl ... as well of other trouble shoot led indicators...
sedtarte : i recommend trying another game 007 is a fun game give that one a shot....
spartan99 : ok oh boy we got to get into some more work ... ok now what that means is that on your C ( ms dash directory) it contails modded files duh... ok now to fix this what u have to do is
1 : run a older sid such as sid 2 to install it then run aid 3 and install a fresh ms dash to C so you can pretty much have a clean mod
or 2 while your in mod linux mode you can temporaly FTP while this gamte is open you can transfer a clean ms dash from your pc to the xbox onto the C folder....
this step is easy once this is done no more gimics no more issues...
now on xbox hq theirs a member called pirrup and under his sig he has the latest build of ms dash you d/l it extract the .rar and begain doing the work....

iPirate, I am very sorry, I misunderstood your post, you can change it using a dashboard like UnleashX or XBMC, and in the "appearance" settings you can set the ring colour.

how did you get into the dash error? well any way hope that you did leave the files there just COLD BOOT the game put the game on the xbox POWER OFF and power back on WITH GAME INSIDE! then try to mod it BUT since you cant mod it due to having modded content then you have to FTP while the linux gate is open so you can fully mod with sid 4...
so unless you have your xbox modded sid 2 or aid disc wont work
aid disc is a dashboard/ apps installer but since xbox is still unhacked the unsigend code wont go thro
its a easy fix

damn i was wrring pratically an essay and my pc turns off on me .... well it was a issue but i fixed it ( had to tear apart pc ) so sorry for the long wait.
well im not going to re write it so can you boot the game that you first attempted to mod the xbox ( sc ma or 007?) open the dvd drive turn it off turn it back on with game INSIDE then hit load and see what happens , if you manage to get to linux then the gate is temporarly open so you can FTP a clean ms dash to your C folder then you can install the softmod and bye bye error 13
its an easy easy fix.....
NOOO you cannot just d/l someting and try to run it why? cuz xbox isnt modded therefore ms has stil the xbox look into signed coding
unsigned codes(coding) will allow you to run aid disc ( a dashboard/aps installer and what not)
but to modify xbox and convince its ms programing you must hack in
and i just explain how
this one more method but its FAR harder and reloves ALOT of time
its called a HOTSWAP
but this is an easy fix so dont make it hard

The system will load the games but not the linux it will not work through SC as I tried and it just tells me error code 21

who ok wait so if you turn on the xbox normaly it loads ms dash and everything is ok right? but when you try to load the linux is when you get error 21? this is because your missing 1 of the 2 files
or you have a game save of this game that is messing it up .....

Ok here goes when the xbox is on without a game it gives me error code 13 and when the Xbox is on with Splinter Cell in it runs the game Fine but now when I go to Use the Linux Profile it is giving me error code 21 again I honestly have no idea what is going on I just turned it off to take a break and Play my PS2 and then I tried to get back to work and these were the problems I am facing

oh wow big bummer your into .... 13 is no dash 21 means you deletd or 1 of the 2 or both files are currpted or bottom line they are gone....
solution? yeah its called HOTSWAPw/out an eeprom
go to xbox hq and make a thread about it , tell them exactly what you just said which is

theirs alot of knowleageable people there but only fix is hotswap or if your xbox was modded in one point then you can run aid 3 and install a dashboard and if well if you get the chances to install a dash then your good . but remember the aid 3 disc only works if your xbox was sucssfully modded otherwise it will fail to lauch the disc . oh and the disc is also found on xbox hq again just go there

Thanks for all your help and one more question I have learned that this Xbox was previously modded can this help in any way the person said that they had it modded and one day they were playing and turned off the system and then turned it on again and the evox dash no longer showed up and they could no longer play burned games could the fact that it was modded at one point help
