i want to downgrade my psp too from 3.03 to 1.50, i have a GTA:LCS UMD and it has a 2.00 update but it is not from the US..its made in AUSTRIA coz its from Sony COmputer Entertainment EUROPE..has anyone here know if i can use the UMD GTA:LCS made in AUSTRIA(w/v2.00 update)? or do i need to find a GTA:LCS unpatched made in USA?.

after i load the GTA LCS the psp will load HEN. when i want to run Update X.YZ should i take out my UMD or i just leave it on PSP????

i downgraded my ta-082 3.03 to 1.5 with the unpatched gta lcs worked perfectly from the first time and i think that updating to 3.03oe-c was harder if you downgrade just make sure you follow the instructions

Has anyone tried 3.03 easy downgrader? I'm not sure which one is more reliable. I just thought i ask before i start downgrading to make my choice.

What is the real chance of bricking, does the bricking only occur when you dont following the instruction corrently or by doing something stupid eg:turning off psp while it is downgrading...., or can it brick for no apparant reason even if you did everything right, i really wanna downgrade my 3.03 psp to 1.5 and then to 3.03OE-c, but i just need as much help as possible so that it wont brick, someone reply asap

all u can do is follow the readme and hope all goes well. there is always a risk of bricking when messing with the flash, although it is very small.

alright then, here goes nothing, i just pray it dont brick, i dont have the money for another one :(
if all goes well, when upgrading to 3.03 oe-c does that also flash the psp, and does that also have a chance of bricking it

yes yes. but its doubtful it will happen, HIGHLY doubtful. Do you have the unpatched version of GTA:LCS for the downgrader to work properly.

how to i make a backup of my netowrk confingurations using the netconficbackup tool included, in the readme it states
IMPORTANT NOTE: Backing up from 2.00+ and restoring on 1.50 may not work if WPA is used on the 2.00+ PSP
what does this meen, and do ia have to make a backup, or is it automatic in the downgradfing process

OK, thats cool, i am at the screen now where i have to press x to continue, i am seriously shitting myself, this is my 1st downgrade, are you positive i am doing the right thing and continueing....what if it bricks!!!! i wont be able to handle it..

yes yes!!!! it worked, thank u so much, i seirously want to kiss u rite now, lol, now..... shuld i upgrade to 3.03 Oe-c...is there any need to bum around in 1.5---theres nothing that u can do in 1.5 that you cant do in 3.03 Oe-c is there?? and is there any risk in upgradeing to that, and also what is the easiest way to install it, i saw that you had sum sort of 3.03 OE-C Winstaller ? is that alot easier

Go to 3.03 OE-C. You can do everything 1.5 can + so much more. If you look at the link my sig it links to a Winstaller I made for 3.03 OE-C. It installs all the files to ur psp for you...leaving with you only having to run the updater on the psp. Instead of:
Downloading 3.03 and 1.50 Updates
Downloading the 3.03 OE-C update flasher packager
Creating Data.dxar file with the two updates and finally
Flashing the update

is doing this just as risky as the downgrade?? or does it have amuch less possibility of causing problems..
i am downloading that file now, but it will take a while, i got shaped beacuse i used my 15 gb download quota, now i am at 64kb:( ah well, i will get it eventually

i have a UMD of GTA:LCS with 2.00 update but made in austria.SCEA Europe..does anyone here have used this UMD from SCEA Europe for downrading? coz as far as i know they only used the GTA:LCS v2.00 made in USA?.
