I don't have it yet but if it's like Saw 3 it wouldn't surprise me.
Using the latest DVDFab Platinum? The latest is 4.0.3.2 - there's also a beta one you might want to try - 4.0.4.0.
Try AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD yet?

What does AnyDVD show as the protection on it?
If you haven't already try movie only - just like Saw 3 in the beginning :)

Geez from the protection AnyDVD gives doesn't look as bad as Saw 3's 99 bad sectors - maybe something new.
I haven't checked SlySoft forums to see if they've posted anything about it yet.
One last shot - have you tried the ripper in AnyDVD?
What errors do the different programs give - just curious.
You could also try ripping w/ AnyDVD and/or DVDFab then running those files through VobBlanker and see if it makes a diff.

I never tried the ripper program before, Since DVDFab work fine for me or CloneDVD2, I didn't tried VobBlanker this time, I'll do that next and
then I will check the ripper. Saw IV has 2 movies one of them is
is 10 minutes longer, I was able to back up only the shorter one
perfect. I don't know why it is 2 movies if one is uncut or a theater version or something.

Quote: I don't know why it is 2 movies if one is uncut or a theater version or something.
Could be.
Check the original and see if it gives you 2 options.
Or the 2nd movie may just be a bogus one and that may be where the problem lies.
Can't wait to check this one out! Plus I haven't seen the movie yet.

I played the movie in 2 different dvd players few times and it don't give me an option. I tried the VobBlanker and there was an error. Like I said I was able to back up one of the movies, and I just wait for an update, from AnyDVD, FabDVD or CloneDVD2.

I got this movie to back-up "Movie Only" with AnyDVD 6.3.0.3 & CloneDVD 2.9.1.2. Select the "Movie Only" option in CloneDVD then select(check mark) video title 01 > 1:35:28 leave every other video title unchecked. This was my only option or at least until AnyDVD or CloneDVD updates. Nothing else I have works including Vob Blanker with AnyDVD, NERO 8 Recode 2 Compile a DVD w/AnyDVD. RipIt4Me once you remove these <> begins to process but errors out? Mr. Woodcock has similar trouble different tough encryption, can't get anything to work with that title either except NERO 8 Recode 2 "Compile a DVD" "Movie Only".

I've had a few newer movies give some of my computers a hard time. I have DVD Fab HD Decrypter on my laptop and as long as it is the latest version I can get the job done. The others can have the same version on them and run into a problem with them. Basically "The defective/scratched" disc problem.
The problem may lay with the OS, Optical drive, Installed programs & so on. I don't think that internet connection is a factor (Call home type of thing).
Anyway, once I get a difficult disc to copy, I give the laptop a try. If successful, I transfer to an external drive and then process it on one of them with DVD Shrink. Been good so far. DVD Fab updates have been fast & easy.
Good luck in all your endeavors folks
TC

Both Mr Woodcock & Saw IV are new encryption configurations....not saying they're impossible all together but I'm guessing your favorite back-up software will need updating for these titles (Full back-up menus & extras).:P Good Luck Chuck is a Lionsgate release like Saw IV, the encryptions are different....Saw IV and Mr Woodchuck are somethiing different. I backed up the "Good Luck Chuck" with AnyDVD 6.3.0.0 & CloneDVD 2.9.1.2 No such luck with Saw IV and Mr Woodchuck. Updated to 6.3.0.3 still no luck on a full back up, Just "Movie Only" & using 2 separate softwares (Recode 2 & CloneDVD) and methods to attain that result.:P

@311814175 Did you preview or watch it to see that the end result isn't flawed i.e. skipping, bad audio, director commentary?....Oh and is it a full back up?:P
