I've tried DVDFab HD Decrypter 4, and RipIt4Me....neither of which have been successful. With DVDFab, the movie is too large to be copied, even after removing the special features and menus. With RipIt4Me, a message comes up saying that they cannot open destination file....any suggestions?

Hmmmm... I personally have never heard of a dvd being TOO LARGE to copy... I know of some that the dvd size can get up to 11 gigs when extracted and whatnot... but I have never had a problem backing up any movie whatsoever.

What system do you use?

I know, I'm at a complete loss!! I have windows XP....when I got that message (too big to copy) I attempted to use my mom's computer (she has Vista)...EXACT thing happened again. I've been backing up movies for over a year, never had any problems. I'm STUMPED!!

well I downloaded the trial version of DVDFab platinum and it worked....weird that the other programs wouldn't work. I'll be interested to hear if others have similar problems.

Rip it 4me appears to be working for me. I just removed the < > from the title of the movie and it is processing so far.

I also had a problem just a few minutes ago trying to use Ripit4me on Good Luck Chuck. I tried again with taking out the < > from my destination drive and it started to decrypt. Thanks so much.

RipIt4Me worked for me as well. I just finished it a few minutes ago. All I did was to use the "1-Click" mode and check the box "Make DVD jump to Menu upon insertion" Hope this helps.

and backs the main movie to my hard drive with no problem at all,I would like to have the full disc backed up as well so any info or help would be greatly apreciated.

i dont understand when the disc gets processed by dvdfab, and then put thru shrink, how the disc could be to large. It doesnt even shrink the movie at all. i am showing like 97% and its showing total size of 6,7 gig. THe main movie is also even larger then a standard dvR. Is there anyway to fix this?
