When you click on Backup, did you check in the drop down box under Select backup target?

Uncheck burn with Nero and close Shrink.
If you have already downloaded the ZIP file at the top of this page, open that ZIP file and extract DVD Shrink 3.2.exe to your DVD Shrink folder. When asked if you want to replace the file in the folder with this one, click on yes.

If I follow the instructions from Rich (earlier post) using Dawine and DVDShrink and Fairmount...do I need to consider IMGBurn? I have the most recent iMac machine (only a Mac user for about 3 weeks now). I expected to be able to burn the image created (ISO) but so far, two failures. First it said I didn't have enough room on the disk, Second, it burned the first 5 minutes and quit. There was an error message after that. This is getting frustrating. Help?

I need help! I might have been doing this all wrong, but for a little over a year I have been using dvdfab 4 to rip and then using dvdshrink 3.2 to burn a copy. Its worked for a year, but now when I do it the movie comes out all jumbled. It starts in the middle of the movie. Can anyone help me, PLEASE! Thanks

Dvd Shrink does NOT burn. It uses another program (Dvd Decrypter, Nero, Imgburn) to burn once it's done transcoding.

Sometimes this can be caused by inferior blank media and/or burning too fast.
Use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or Sony. Burn at 6x to 8x max.

There's a problem with the sticky though, it doesn't give the option to burn the files as a DVD but rather as an IMAGE ISO file which is not what I want to do. How do we fix that? I want the end product burned on the DVD to play in a house DVD player after it's burned.
