hmm im not sure im gonna be able to help u because i only have a slim, and i was on 3.60 ofw, and bricked it by pressing X with the pandora battery and the magicms in the psp slim, and pulling the battery out in a panic lol
i then put the battery back in, pressed x, 2 mins later, i was on 3.71 M33...if you wanna risk it, do what i did lol

no, once you have successfully made the magicms, it should be a case of plug in and go.
perhaps you should make the magicms again, and report what it says, particularily the bit after its copied over the files. a copy and paste job would be excellent.

i dont know, maybe they were referring to the easyinstaller program, because it runs in ms-dos in a shell called command prompt, which is run by typing cmd in the run box in the start menu

that means it didn't finish correctly...right. ok what appears to have happened is that it failed to read the mem card after everything had been copied. have u got another mem card you can try? im not saying its fake, but i did it on a 1 GB sandisk card and it worked (had to use xp, vista didn't work right). are you the administrator? did you format the memory card using your psp, and then did the easyinstaller format it again??

just out of curiosity, have u checked on ur psp to see if ur psp's firmware has changed? and also...if it worked on vista, then try it again on there and post the message you got instead of the iocontrol error one, if you know what i mean..

funny you should say that, because, i just tried it, and guess what, it never worked...strange that.
to be honest, i dont understand why when you use the installer it dont work for some and does for others....surely it must be a driver problem??
