I fixed my worms problem, here's what i did:
The problem was the iso itself, what i did was extract the files of the iso, then i loaded them in a program called "PS2 CDGENPS2 3.0", and made my own cd image, and then burned it!
Maybe it can help some of u guys with a bad game rip :D

It depends on which Worms game you are talking about. If it is Worms 3D, then the problems are pretty simple. Worms Forts has quite a few little glitches that are magnified quite a bit by the NTSC and Y-Fix patches. The FMVs don't work on NTSC systems, so they need to be disabled or swapped out for Default.pss files, and the NTSC + Y-Fix tends to break the executable unless you also add the P/N selector.
I also dummied Worms Forts to fix some of the loading issues (speed-wise) with a 1:1 copy. Seems Sega doesn't know how to protect data from rippers, but I don't mind. I do mind that they don't seem to know how to layout the CD for speed. :)

I have tried everything to try to patch Tekken Tag Tournament iso from PAL to NTSC but nothing works. I have wasted like 25 CDs. What else can you recommend?

You can use cheat codes.
These codes will work for Gameshark v3-4 or Codebreaker v1-9
(M) - Mastercode (Must be on)
F03572A0 004066F3
60 hz - Run the game in NTSC format
203F7A44 24120002
Y-Fix - This will center the screen
003F7C9C 00000010
003F7CFC 00000010
003F7D40 00000010
003F7DC0 00000010

You don't need the dongle. You need the cd and a regular ps2 memory card. Not all games can be patched to NTSC using cheat codes. Read the faq in my first post for more information about using cheat codes to patch from PAL to NTSC.

Hey i rented Killzone, ripped it and then burned it so i could have my own copy. the copy worked with my swap magic cd for about 2 days, and now it wont load any levels. it is extrememly slow and at the load level screen, the bar will completely go from left to right, but just stops. the dvd is still spinning tho. i can see the laser at the tip of the disc (like the actual red light..i modded my p2s so there is a translucent lid) Is this because of my dvd media? It is 8x. i dont understand why it is not working....just keeps spinning, the same problem with spiderman2

I think this can happen sometimes when you burn your ps2 dvd/cd at high speeds (usually 2x is suggested). So what happens is either the game wont boot at all, or it will stop working at a certain point of the game. Try loading it without your saves, if it works (on the first levels) it probably means your cd/dvd is corrupt at the point you got to (exampe 9th level..).
What you could do is, if you still have the image on your comp, burn it at a slower speed.

Hi,
I dl'd Legend of Kay, and I selected 60 Hz, but the game is showing up in black and white. Was there something I missed? Thanks.

For people like bossplaya and I, the patched version has a delay with the audio and video.
I'm using a DMS3 modchip flashed to 2.2. This problem has been discussed by other DMS3 users at the DMS forums as well. What chip do you use? It could be a DMS issue.

I applied the NTSC2PAL patch on Devil May Cry 3. The game itself works just fine, but during movies, the sound is a lot faster than the video. I encountered a similar problem when playing an NTSC-regioned DVD. Fact is, because PAL has more lines, it takes the ps2 a bit longer to build the image, so the video is a bit slower than the sound, which played at normal speed. The only solution I can think of to solve that sound issue is to change the pitch, at least that was what I did on that DVD.
