Chrome38....
I know it's a little late, but just saw your message from a while back.
Spindrive PAL can be patched with the standary y-fix of 48 with no noticable problems. The patch unfortunately does not stop the game from sucking though :)

I would like to add a game to the list
Medal of Honor: Frontline (PAL) - use PS2 PAL TO NTSC PATCHER WITH Y-FIX V1.06 BETA
However, in order for the screen to be centered correctly, you must extract the files of the game to a folder (use Isobuster) and manually redirect the patcher to both SLES_506.84 and MOH2UK.ELF (the file names may differ slightly). Then, use CDVDGEN to put the files you've extracted back into a new .iso (more info here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/156785 on that).

Hey everyone,
I want to convert a copy of Rolling (PAL) to NTSC.
I've tried the PS2 PAL TO NTSC PATCHER WITH Y-FIX V1.06 BETA
with all of the instructions from the forum.
the title screen loads great, then the menu starts to load and the screen freezes.
I then tried the adr patcher and the disc didn't load at all.
Can someone please suggest a solution.

Does anyone succeeded with Tekken Tag Tournament(PAL)?
I used PAL2NTSC Patcher v1.06 and Burnatonce 0.99.5 (because TTT is in CD but DVD), and I followed just as the description on the first post.
But when I boot my PS2 with the patched one, the first screen (which says 'Sony Computer Entertainment') skips fine but then nothing happens(The 'Play Station 2' logo doesn't appear).
Doesn't PAL2NTSC Patcher work on Tekken Tag Tournament?
Anyone can suggest me the way to make TTT(PAL) into NTSC which moves faster without using Gameshark codes?

I tried MAshed with the ADR patcher like you said (And the PAL 2 NTSC Y-Fix) And Both of them worked, (Y-Fix was better centered)
BUT both of them freeze (even with different images) At the menu screen. IF you can button mash your way past it, the game plays fine, But the menu's always freeze eventually.

I used the patch on World Snooker Championship 2005 and it won't boot, how do I undo the patch? I didn't back up the ISO because I saw that the .bak of the ELF file would be made. However, I don't know how to edit ISO files so I had to "create a data cd" in Nero using the old SCES file, but then it didn't even get past the red border in SM 2.0, I think its because when you make a new data CD its not a 1:1 copy of the first ISO.
HOW DO I USE THE ELF BACKUP FILE TO RESTORE THE ORIGINAL ISO???

Will someone please answer this man's question? I share his pain...

Has anyone successfully patched an old ps2 game called "Ico" (PAL dvd special edition, has more content than the NTSC version) from PAL to NTSC? I'll be backing this up soon and I'd like to know the best way to convert this from PAL to NTSC without losing any quality such as losing an inch off the bottom of the screen, etc. Thanks in advance.

Quote: The program makes a backup of the elf file, in case you want to undo the patch.
Anyone know how to actually do this? I can't just make a data CD and replace the file with the .bak version because its not a 1:1 copy anymore and my PS2 won't boot it. :(
PS2: older USA model (~3 yrs old, 8 screw)
Burner: LITEON DVDRW SOHW-1673S
Media: 8x Maxell (002) DVD +R (6x/8x ONLY!)
Burn Speed: 8x
Software: SM 2.0 & DVD Decrypter

Try rebuilidng the game:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/156785
Extract the patched .iso file with isobuster and replace the patched elf file, usually SCES_XXX.XX (or SLES_XXX.XX), with SCES_XXX.xx.bak (or SLES_XXX.xx.bak), which is the original elf file. Just rename the backup file and delete the .bak part. Then, follow the tutorial above and rebuild the game.
Go to your control panel. Click folder options. Click view. Make sure the button for hide extentions for known file types is unchecked.

i'm having problems to patch star wars revenge of the sith PAL. I did it with the pal2ntsc with yfix (Y offset in 48) and it didn't work... i tried ard patcher and it worked but the screen that was cut was exactly the life bar and the force bar (the game doesn't have sreen ajust...) and the game works just sometimes (after thre sreen title it freezes...). Anyone knows if there's a way to patch it with pal2ntsc and let me see the life and force bar?
