Need Help Flashing Benq Xbox 360

Hey
I've tried flashing my xbox before when i didn't have a via chipset and the vendor intro failed so i went out an bought a VIA 6421 pci sata card.
When i got it, i opened up my pc and placed in the pci card slot. I then installed the drivers that came with the disk and im not sure if i did it right. I selected the VT6421 folder on the drivers disk and clicked the setup exe and everything went well but when it finished it came up with a message about my ati chipset (which was my original one) saying i needed to install some drivers or something. im not sure if this has anything to do with anything but i thought i should mention it just in case. So I just continued to flash my xbox. I hooked up my benq dvd drive to my via (using a sata cable obviously) and turned on my xbox. I then opened up jungle flasher and scrolled through all the ports but it said -No Drive Detected-. I tried both ports on the via and none of them worked.

Could someone please tell me where I went wrong.
Did I install the via properly?
Should I be doing something else?

Any help at all would be much appreciated :D
