if i get a 360key do i have to reflash my drive every time there is a update

No, thats the whole point of the k3y, you dont need to flash your drive at all, just extract the key from it to be used in the k3y.

xkey
wasabi
x360dock
boxzii

can get you banned! not recommended.


question on patching:

i try n load it up first, if it doesnt load then i make copy of it and patch copy then try that (thats how i do it.)

using x360dock pcb, but using boxzii software (more support) ie: x360dock & boxzii are same pcb.

i cant pay e50 to get my slim 360 flashed every time there is a update so i was thinking of something else any idears

Yes, either save up and get a xk3y, or take the cheaper route and buy the necessary hardware to flash your drive. It's also a plus once you can flash your drive, as you can flash your friend's drives and make a little profit to pay for the hardware you purchased. Flashing is the most common way, but the xk3y is more convenient. The choice is yours :)
