and even if you do there isn't any point because you will be banned again very quickly

Xlink has taken over at this point and works great on jtags

Are there many players on xlink? Thinking of modding the sons Xbox but he does use live a fair bit. Whilst the USB xkey solutions seem to not get banned there is still the danger. So if xlink is a reasonable alternative to live then modding should be reasonably safe?
