I wanna flash the 2 slim xboxes I have laying around, one is a regular 4gb and the sticker on the back says jul,2011 and the other is the Gears of War Edition slim, idk the date on that one. Is it still required to drill the hole or use the trident to get the keys and flash them? Also, is it easier just to buy the replacement board that already comes unlocked? Thanks

i used a lizard to flash both,you wont know what drive you have till you inspect the chip inside to see if you have to drill or cut a trace and use trident

Cool, Ill open them up this weekend to check which drives they have, also what sites do you guys use to buy the tools needed, I already have the lizard but I checked vgc,modchip central and a few other ones for the other tools needed and they were either sold out or I couldnt find it on the site. Thanks

So after opening the system I found I got a Liteon drive.I decided to go with this board for now http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unlocked-Xbox-3...item4acd852c02. How hard is it to get this to work, is there a better one than this out there?
