Hey dudes., I very new to this. I want to make backups now since my kid got a pen and detroyed my new Black ops game, that suck. I'm going to get a SH-D163B Kreon Sata Drive, but I need to know how to do the back up. I'm goint to install my Kreon drive to my computer,but after that I have no Idea. I want to use 2 drive the kreon and a DVD burner I have on my computer, Can you help me so I could get detail instructions on how to do the process. Thanks. I will owe you big time. And will never have my kid next to my games. Black OPS was a cool Game... I'm piss off.
just a question, A ball point pen or a felt tip? how destroyed is it? you might just be better of getting a new one, if its destroyed you will have trouble backing it up. if not remove the cover to your dvd drive (it has to be able to read dl discs, this shouldn't be a problem these days) download wxripper, insert a 7.5gb dvd,put the cover back onso the disk doesn't go crazy, press the magnifying glass on the toolbar after your dvd loads, go to file, click save layout file, open the layout file in notepad change the first letter in the third line to a capital D. save your modified layout file and load your modified layout file in wxripper. press the stop button and remove your disk without opening the drive, put in black ops, replace your cover and press spin drive. press the arrow next to the drive selector, wait until it says done on the bottom. ok now get your iso and run it through ABGX360, you may have to download the security sector off the abgx website if it needs one. burn your game as directed and you should be good. i havnt ripped black ops so you may have some unforeseen issues.
My game was so badly damage that I fill the gap that the pen made. It is not a scratch its a very deep line... The game is gone. I want to back up all my games that I have and the new ones that I'm going to buy. But I do not want to be opening and closing my Xbox 360DVD drive. I want to buy a new DVD drive and add it to my computer. Make copies from my computer. Basicly from one computer drive to the other. But I been looking at the site and they are very old information on how to do this. Is there a DVD drive you prefer? What are the steps I have to take to make a playable game. If I'm able to do this, I was going to go ahead and have my Xbox 360 Moded. I do not care for online playing. I'm very new at this? So I need step by step information. Yes, I do mess around with my computers, but not an expert. I need help. Can any body help me with this. Help, Help. I love my war games. I like playing them over and over in harder modes. No I'm not making copies to sale, or cheat the system. The back ups are really back ups. I just want to make sure, people do not think I'm hear to cheat the system.I buy my games and they are so expensive that I want to make sure, I use the back up and I put away for safe keeping the original game. i haven't tried using a kreon drive, but i have had luck with a dual layer dvd burner with the cover taken off there are a few good detailed guides around ill look out for them and post the link. once you get it going all you really need is a cheap dvd drive and time.
