PSP won't turn on or charge

I have a PSP-1001 with custom FW that won't turn on. Power light does not light up.

When I plug my AC adapter in (Battery in or out.), nothing happens. Power light does not come on.

When I swap the battery with my Pandora battery still nothing happens. No power light. I'm pretty sure the Pandora battery has a charge because I have only used it once.

This PSP has not been used in years, however this started before it was put away.

I tested the AC adapter with a different device and it works fine.

The build quality of the PSP 1k was pretty poor, it may be corroded contacts or a thousand more things.
