I hav a flashed xbox 360 dunno which FW
M trying to connect to xbox live but whenever i test connection its shows a msg for update.......Is it safe to update it and i knw of getting banned on live so thts not wht i want to knw....

LL the update cause some prob for offline mode or nt??????

Don not update ONLINE, my friend.

It's is dangerous. It will get you banned. Instead, update it offline. Here's the download and instructions : XBOX UPDATE AND STEPS (Recommend USB Method)

If you have an iXtreme FW But I think you have that FW.
After the update, try using Black Ops, MW2, Halo: Reach, NFS: Hot Pursuit, or AC: Brotherhood. If it say "unreadable disk" Then you may have iXtreme LT or lower not LT+

EDIT: DO NOT UPDATE! Offline or Online. The update may cause your Xbox to brick or won't play back up games.
