What's going on with the new (?) DVDXCOPY International & are they going to provide activation for US user that need them. I'm going to format my disk next week as my hard drive has to be replaced & need to reactivate all my DVDXCopy programs. I'm told i have 0 activations left on 1 program, & 25 activations on my GamesXcopy. Since when were the activations limited? The info for the US programs keeps appearing & disappearing from the site. Anyone know what is going on???

321 got sued out of existence so there's no more official support or activations for their software. Further XCopy questions should be posted here:

DVD Shrink is worth a look for movies and BlindWrite outperforms GamesXCopy in every way :)

I have just replaced my hard drive, went to more storage. Lost my activation on my dvd x copy. I e-mailed the dvdxcopy international on 11-8-04 and they had me up and running by 11-11-04. They gave me full instructions on how to set it up. They were great!

Why in the world would you think this is a DVD-R Advanced question?

tomt7898,
Have you read the Forum rules?? My guess is NO!!
So let me educate you!!
Rule #2. Consider an appropriate forum before posting your question -- look at the forum descriptions on the main forum page first.
By no means an "how to activate" is an Advanced question!!
Rule #1. Before starting a new thread, use SEARCH first (located on top of the page..) to see if your question has been answered before!
If they did a search they would have found most XCopy threads are closed and telling them to use aD's XCopy forum.

And, they might have found this thread:

Again, Afterdawn has a dedicated XCopy forum. And that is where the admins want XCopy questions posted!!

And I would say watch the attitude. I've helped my fair share of people.
