On the Toca topic:
I have the Toca 3 version that I got from a torrent site, the default country selection is England, and it's a PAL version, so I'm assuming it's the English release (obviously).
I have made two copies, one patched, one that's not.
With the un-patched version, I can get past the login details now, but when I swap the disc for the patched one, I only get as far as the DNA$ check and it gives me a DNA$ error. I tried several DNA$ codes; the two PAL Universals and the one Moros gave me.
I have the original of V8 Supercars 3 (which is the same thing as Toca 3, it's just what it's called here in Australia). With the original, I have to turn off my chip or it also gets a DNA$ error. Needless to say a back-up won't go online either. I also can't get the DNA$ code from it using the Disc ID Utility (a first), it just comes up 'error'.
I'm using a Muppet chip on a silver slim.
Just wanted to report that, and also to ask if anyone who has successfully got a back-up working online to post their method.

Thanks "needs" for that.
I used windip 1.7 and it worked fine.
I patched Toca Race Driver 3 but an ERROR occured the same as many other people have been receiving.
ERROR creating account. This may be due to an invalid username. Gamespy Password or email address.
I then tried this:-
Loaded up the unpatched copy, when i got to the dnas screen i quickly swapped it for the patched version, but at the end of it i got an DNAS Error (-402). which i think
"needs" did, if im not mistaken.
Has anyone successfully run a Patched Toca Race Driver 3 online?

hi
I ve but toca race driver3 , when i try to play online with my patched backup(i ve try one with DNAS300 Killzone ,another one with the original DNAS300 >toca3)
I ve no problem to patch ID ( which is working > it s the original one , so i m sure )

I dont understans why this game don t work online, what s the difference for the ps2 between the original ans my backup??
It must be another folder which is the problem >>I see there is a file " DNAS300.RELL" or "DNAS.RELL"

I'll tell ya all now, Whoever finds the solution of how to play Toca 3 online after being patched without having to use the patched & unpatched disks together, will be very popular.

i play online everyday, but i switch disc's. this take 15 seconds and is worth it because it is so much fun online

hey m8 can u tell me how u do the initial swap do u use a fliptop to do the swap or do u just hit the eject button
this sounds good
so what u are saying is when it is doing the dhcp check do the swap with the patched one ..because the security check on the disc seems to be when u try login in with the gamespy id ..
hope this little swap works if so ure a genuis lol

thats how i do it o have the old machine so i just use the little tool to pull out and switch disc's and then the dnas test works fine. use special boot

I wouldnt mind having to use both the patched & unpatched disks but it seems that i cant get that going on my ps2 at all, I have a fliptop lid. As soon as i press yes to connect, the dnas connecting screen comes up, then i take the unpatched disk out and the patched one in. It does spin but keeps repeating itself like making the same sound. Then an dnas error at the end.
I have tried all i could to get this game going online but nothing.
The only other way is buy the original which i might have to do.

I used DNA code XX XX 01 40 FC for FIFA 2006 but I can't play online. I get an error the DNA code failed or something. What am I doing wrong?
I've put some numbers and letters arbitrarily on the XX.

here is an update for toca hoe works..
1. first you burn two copies one patched and one unpatched
2 start the game with the patched one and use special boot
3. when you are coming to the screen with your account name ore new account change to the unpatched disc.
4. then press to log in. when you press x change again over to the patched cd..
I use the old machine and swap magic and this works fine for me

Peritass you are da man!!!
It all works perfectly online now, i didnt know you had to run the patched game first, i was starting with the unpatched disk lol.
Trust me people you got to play this game online. Its amazing!!
I just would like to say thanks to everyone who has help with this subject i'm sure many people are over the moon with excitement.

Thank you peritass.
No one had mentioned that you need to start off with the patched disc.
I was starting with the unpatched and then switching to the patched during the dhcp.
So it's patched, go to login screen, swap to unpatched, when log in and dhcp comes up, swap disc back to patched.
I wonder if that will work with Toca 2? Might give it a go now.

I'm trying to load the game using Breaker Pro and Swap Magic 2.0, but it doesn't works.... PS2 crash after push [] button to create a new account (I swap the patched and no patched disk before push []).
Is it possible to load it with Breaker Pro and/or Swap Magic 2.0?
Does it only work with SM 3.6+?

Hi, this is my first message.
My problem is that i used DNAS/ID: x x 01 40 FC edited by ddpto play Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and a friend of mine used x x 01 40 FC edited by ddp , and we could not play against each other on the net, we simply did not see each other. Was it because of the DNAS? Can we play against pepople with the same last 6 numbers (XX XX 01 40 FC) and only change the first 4 numbers??? What is the problem???
