ok..Coded Arms won't play with any Hookboot launcher..you will have to get ahold of a sample disc or a umd and use Fastloader V0.07 to play that iso, sorry ;)

maybe its just a bad iso..thats happen with me with maden 06 i got loads of games and some work some dont u should try another iso...by the way coded arms sucks....

@lhk890419 you have the change the settings in umd emultor from direct load to load from menu to get dth jr to work.

I need help! I downloaded the iso it was like 1.12GB. When I try to launch it with UMD emulator .8c, it loads the main title, then show the warning message about the memory card. When I press X to continue, it just freezes, then shuts down the psp. How did you guys get this working?

what iso is it. try loading from menu change the setting in the umd emulator main menu.

can u tell me do i need to upgrade my psp from jap 1.00 to 1.50 just to run umdemulator or fastloader?cause i have tried and tried to run quite a few isos but all that happens is it shows me psp logo screen and takes me back to the psp main menu...i have nevber been able to reach the fastloader menu nor the umdloader menu...can any1 tell me wat am i doin wrong?...thx

It seems as though you have to upgrade to 1.5 firmware. From what ive read in the past.
I think there is a hookboot loader that will work on firmware 1.0 out there.

you can upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade to 1.5 or just get the 1.5 upgrade from my site in the downgrade kit.

hey, i just bought a 512mb memory for my psp and i wanted to know if i can get umds into my psp. if so can you tell me how. also i would like 2 know if i could rip my umds and put them as an iso.

AM SORRY TO BOTHER YOU BUT I AM NEW TO THIS AND I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE FASTLOADER V0.7 AND INSTALLED AS ASKED BUT WHEN I GO TO PLAY GAMES THE MACHINE JUST FREEZES ON *** INITIALIZING *** AND THE GAME I HAVE SELECTED DOESN'T START. I HAVE CURRENTLY GOT A UMD GAME ( APE ACADEMY) IN THE MACHINE. YOU SEEM TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING SO COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME.

I know this isn't really about fastloader, but can you overclock your PSP without using fastloader or UMD emulator? Is there a program that allows you to do that?

Hi to all, I read most of all the thread and followed all the instruction ( evnflow ) and seems to be i'm on the right track except I dont have 1gb mem stick at the moment. Just one thing...Am I suppose to put the Iso emulation mode to COPY MODE in order to back up my UMD on my Memory stick (1gb)? I'm using Fastloader Emulator V0.08c.Then use the UMDGEN to make an ISO?..Sorry for my ignorance And Big thanks to all the geniuses of this forum

you can use any setting you wish...btu you will need to use Copy Load for Star Wars Battlefront and Infected...this was the mode i used for these games to load up...

@evnflow, thanks man for the response. When you say "load up", do you mean to say put the UMD files to the mem stick or to initialize the Iso file game? coz right now I want to back up my UMD and put it on my PC to make an ISO file. How do I put The UMD Game content to my PC?

Hi Evenflow. You're the all knowing and I need your help. I'm to the point I just might pay.
I have f/w 1.52 and fastloader .07. I'm going by the following method and going crazy!!!!
+PSP(also on the ROOT DIRECTORY)

| +--- EBOOT.PBP
|
+SAVEDATA
+ISO(this folder DOESN'T go in the psp folder...it is on the same window)

| |-< place my ISOs here(Legend.Of.Heroes)>

+ISOMISC(backpic.bmp)(this folder DOESN'T go in the psp folder...it is on the same window)

+ISOSPLIT(empty) (this folder DOESN'T go in the psp folder...it is on the same window)
I press x on spongebob, i get the following error: The game could not be started(80020148) I tried other variables like placing Saved Data in the PSP folder. I still get the error and a "corrupted data" icon.
What am I doing wrong? Do I have the wrong f/w?

@taichi66 Yes, you have the wrong f/w. You have to manually upgrade it to 2.00 (NOT 2.01 or above) and downgrade it.

@lhk890419, thanks for the quick reply. Being the newbie of the newbies, I don't know how to do that and I don't think I've ran across it in my Internet search for anything other than 1.52 to 1.5.
