@mushi25
you need an orig umd disk in the drive to use fastloader or umdemulator m8.
Switch psp on, insert game/film umd but don't go to run it.
Then select emulator, run emulator, select game (on memory stick not the one in umd drive) and away you go.

Alternatively, some games will run using devhook where you don't need an orig umd disk

AAAAARGH!!!!!!
Now i got that out of my system can someone help me before i go insane....
I'm ok for getting all my games to run using combo's of umdemulator and devhook my problem is playing orig umd films.
For crimbo i got Little britain on umd but when i come to play it, it tells me i need to instal the packaged 1.52 firware to play the film.
My psp is 1.50 firmware so i installed and ran wabversionchanger 2.5 and fooled psp to think it was 1.52 firmware, however the film will still not run, so i fooled it to think it was ver 2 but still no joy.
Does anyone know of a way around this dilema other than rippin the umd to memory instead or is this what i have to do?

if I iam using fastloader can i run newer games like tiger woods that need FW 1.52 when i have 1.50. does wab version changer do any damage to the psp when tricking it into thinking its a 1.52+

thats because for it to work you have to have a real umd in the drive. YOu can also use devhook if you want. get it from my site.

Hi - does anyone know why when I have downgraded to version 1.5 and copied FASTLOADER v0.7 to the root menu, I can't click on UMDEMULATOR in MEMORY STICK within GAME?? Like ICEMAN77, I have the games on DVD but no corresponding UMD.
I have checked that the ISO files are in the ISO folder on the memory card.
BIG thanks to anyone who knows, as I have searched everywhere for an answer but to no avail!!!
THANKS!!!!

Panic over, I had copied the FASTLOADER folder with all files onto root menu and not all 4 files (i.e. ISOMISC, ISO etc) straight into the root menu.
All working fine now...

hi guys its me again i just gone out and bought terminator 1 umd and i went to use the emulator but now it says that it cant read the disc or the region code is incorrect i am using a video not a game so i dont know what to do.i am not sure if i have put the file folders in the right place.

i am running on fw1.5 and a jpn psp also the video is region2.i am using UMD emulator.

i have loads games in a compressed iso format and when i decompress them i get game_data and UMD_data.bin or something like that. what do i do with the Bin file and do i put the game_data in the ISO folder or do i put the unextracted file in the iso folder. can someone make me a guide for beginers or something Please much appreciated if so.

I don't think it makes much difference having that file but there must be a problem with how you have your setup for it not to create it.
with umdemulator you need to use 3 folders
UMDEMULATOR (containing core.bin + menu.bin) - this you store in root (alongside psp folder)
UMDEMULATOR (containing eboot.pbp) + UMDEMULATOR% (containing eboot.pbp) - these you store in game folder of your psp folder
hope this helps m8.

you are going to have to set the umd disc type to movie...i'm assuming it's still set on game(on the umdemulator load screen)...should work...if that doesn't work, try a game umd in the drive or use devhook(hookboot) launcher V22

Hi,

Please help, I know there is a program out there that allows you to arrange it so when you access the memory card it arranged all the applicaton files above all the corrupted data files.

Problem, I completely forgotton what its called and now i have many apps etc on the memory card I think it would be very useful

Please if you could provide the name or even better a link. Sorry if its a duplicate post but couldnt find anything after several searches not easy as dont knoe the name of the program ;o(

@jamo9000
You dont need any specific program to arrange the files in that order. Simply cut and paste all the files with the "%" under your MemoryCard\PSP\GAME to your windows desktop, then simply cut and paste them back to the MemoryCard\PSP\GAME and then all the corrupted data will appear at the end of the list.

@jamo9000 & @rahulneel

using the program i mentioned in my last reply removes the corrupt data completely from the list so it only shows the applications, no corrupt data.

@rahulneel

I shall explain from start m8 as i don't know how ur pc knowledge is.

1. Extract the downloaded file then double click the seiPSPTool.exe file.
2. Ensure that your psp is connected via usb to your pc and that the psp is selected for usb connection running.
3. On the seiPSPTool program, down the left hand side, there is an icon for CORRUPTED ICONS, select this.
4. Ensure that your psp is identified on the first selection window.
5. Now this is the bit that throws some people, but it's easier than you think; on the second selection window you need to enter the folder name without the %, it's hard to explain in words but as an example, say you have umdemulator running on your psp, you will have 2 folders under the game folder on your psp, 1 called umdemulator and 1 called umdemulator%, to remove the corruption from umdemulator appearing on your psp screen you will need to enter the word "umdemulator" (without the "") in the second of the selection windows on seiPSPTool then click rename on seiPSPTool. As another example, if you have devhook running on your psp, enter "devhook" (without the "") to remove the corruption from appearing on your psp.
You DO NOT need to enter any roots or directories as you would in a windows situation, just the folder name, the program itself finds it on your psp.
Hope this helps, it sure makes it look tidy without all those bloody corrupt files on the psp screen.
