Ok, so I have found that it is probably that firmware version causing the headache and that I need version 1.0. Do you know where I can go to get information on downgrading my brand new ipod? If you do, I owe you a beer!

Just adjust framerate to a value (such as 24fps), convert a few minutes and stop converting, then play the ipod video files to see whether it works well or not.

Open up Videora, click setup, then go to the proflies tab. Click framerate and change it to 23.976 If this doesn't work for you then you'll probably have to try another conversion program.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm new to this thing called an "iPod" but I'm getting the hang of it. It seems you guys know your stuff! I'm sure I'll be back with more questions eventually.

I'm trying to use PQ DVD, but my DVD doesn't even open when I click open. ?

when I put the DVD in, I get the message access violation at address 00406797 at module 'PQDVD_Ipod.exe' Read of address 0000000

I've tried a second DVD, but won't open when I click open file or the open button on the left. I'm afraid I'm so dumb I can't even get past the first direction

Hey guys I'm back for more help :) I was wondering if it was possible to rip mpeg4 with subtitle files. I have a few movies in a different language and I have .srt files, but I don't know if it is possible to convert it with the .srt. If there is such a program and someone hook me up? :)

I know you aren't advertising ;-)

I am aware of Xilisoft, and it is a good program, but in my humble opinion, PQDVD is more versatile and in general a better program.

Thanks for the heads-up, shinraboy.

Hi guys. I've searched the forum and haven't seen anyone mention Nero Recode 2 for video conversion to mp4 format. I just started experimenting yesterday and have successfully converted two .AVI compressed videos that were previously not recognized by iTunes. If anyone else has had success or failure please, let's hear your stories.

lol, ok, where's the 'start' button in Videora v.092?

DVD Encrypter created 3 files, I want the largest one (vob) to open in Videora right?

Thanks

~jstin
