@saintz
If you give more details of what you need help on at one go,people will reply quicker and you will have your problem sorted out quicker.Such as cbrooks had to ask you the questions.

ok well for a while i was getting speeds of 80/90 and now its just bombed back down to between 5-10 even tho theres more seeds than peers, should i restart it after disabling dht? i still havent got the firewall on, should i try with it on again? im at a loss when it comes to what utorrent says at the bottom, its gobbedlygook..its so frustrating that it did actually speed up and now its gone slow..

Ever thought of changing to Azureus ?
its easier to config than utorrent , it could change your speeds or you could try uninstalling then reinstalling utorrent . Just an idea :)

”Torrents is great if you have a slow computer but Azureus is the best.It is easy to configure as celticfc1 said and I use it,LOL.But it is a resource hog,I would stick with ” if you have a slow computer.

It doesnt matter wether u have a slow pc or not, I have a great computer and I choose to use utorrent. Its just a matter of time till utorrent takes over Azureus ;-D

Yes but most people with slow computers should use ”Torrent because it's not a resource hog like Azureus but anyway I'm keeping Azureus because my download speeds are great and if I swith to another client it ma yjust go down so I don't want to fiddle with anything.

@saintz I don't get trouble with Azureus anymore.Here are my settings for Azureus and when I use any private tracker I get high speeds.
Connection
51242 Incoming TCP listen port
Transfer
20KB/s global max upload speed
0 KB/s global max download speed
4 default max ulpoad slots per torrent
154 Maximum number of connections per torrent
512 Maximum number of connections globally
Hope this helps :-D
