It was posted on the front page on the PS2 games forum two months ago. Enless he has been subscibed to this thread for a long time (possible) and ignored the PS2 Games home page he intintionally got himself banned for some reason that is unknown to me.

playing the american version of ffxii right now the voice actings a tad off teh jap versions voice acting seems to fit better for tho woundering about story this ones got the best story in a ff game since 6 :) or 9 lol im a big fan of 9 anyways im not tired of the ff seirse as a whole these games have always been fun even x-2 they realy do immerse you intot eh worlds of the games haha i could get lost in 7 for hours on end (back when it was new) theyve always held this addictive air to them

japanase voice actors are still heads above everyone else and thus to me will always be better I think DBZ is one of the few shows that had bad VAing on the japanse side because they used the same voice staff from when the characters were kids but thats kinda rare,I just wish they would leave the japanase audio in to me thats 10$ of worth right there!
My gauge on story and FFs
FF4=6
FF5=4
FF6=7
FF7=6
FF8=6
FF9=6
FFX=7
FFX2=3
you cant beat FF6 is has a ton of characters and stories,FFx is neat but still it feels like something is lacking...maybe its the vaing? 0-o
I have my china made FFX-X2 movies on DVD I should sit and watch them sometime *L*

meh 6 was beaten on my game save :) only ff i cant beat is 11 haha to many damn quest and gil farmers to enjoy that game anymore i quit over 2 years ago >.> chinese made movies you talking about that cut scenes dvd with all of ten gcs right? or the animes? and lol tot eh 10$ extra for leaving the jap auido im not sure as i dont check the features on dvds often but i think in the us releases they leave the audio and you decide if you wanna hear it or not not sure tho as i watch the animes on what ever the hell it was originaly im not picky xD

FF 11 is bad overly restrictive and ...blah its just horrid and un fun.
FF6 still have the best characters and stories FF7 came close FF8 is not so bad FFX is ok as well but they are just missing soething that the classic FFs had...

Got to love it how HIndus is able to come to a conclusion based on two games. He didnt like two games and so Final Fantasy is going down hill. I wonder if he took into account that the reason they made those two games is because Square lost MILLIONS when they made Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and needed some quick cash. Personally, I dont begrudge Square of this since I thought Final Fantasy X-2 was fun but I didnt play FF12 because of the monthly fee.

you mean 11 and yea cant base it on two games just as a few line up someone could find 11 to have been blah but i personaly as a ffwhore loved it it was fun until the gil farmers entered the picture and is still fun if you can get over the amount of gil needed to realy enjoy the game x-2 honestly wasnt that bad could have been better but ask youself this could you have done a better job? i dont think so and if you could instead of talking about how bad it was rip the game and improve on it if you can devolopers work hard to bring us games gotta give them credit

everyone should skip FF11 is overly frustrating MMO rules make it hard to play.
If you don't mind a messed up FF game and waiting on a group to join and being deleved when you die then go for it.
I would rather lose all money than EXP....if they want to use deleveing as the price of death fine just make sure the equipment reads what your "highest" level was not what your "current" level is...

I could have made a better game if I was inchrage of it
I would have ported the equipment from FFX and then between custmizeing them and the dress system the game would have ROCKED
But as it stands its meh a spin off 0_o
,FFX is good but lacking FF9 is great,FF7 is great FF6 is godly FF5 is ok FF4 is godly and 1-3 are ok

First off, I have never ripped FFX-2, I'm usually on here defending it, as to whether or not I could have made it better, I dont really know. I would have made it more worth while to level up your character (there is no real difference between level 60 and 99). Im at lvl 99 because I was just running around killing things to max out the dresspheres and then started working on the 100 level dungeon and I'm stuck at level 80 because the boss there kills me to fast. Can't stop the monster from turning me into stone =(. Other than that I wouldnt change it to much other than find other things to make it longer.

I have played the US version and this is one hell of a game. It does take time to get used to but it was well worth the wait.

indeed vayne is a very cool bad guy his role in the game is one of my favorites "permit me to who are you? an angel of vengence or perchance a saint of salvation?" bg and gamestop recived their copys yesterday afternoon they are holding them till the 31st and doing a midnight opening for it aswell here were i live haha gotta make sure im the first in line to get both my collectors copys of 12 xD

Finally, I got the FFXII. Just start to play. Woow, it is not too bad. Graphic is great. Dont know about story line yet.
I think this is my last game for PS2. I will sell my PS2 after I finish this game and buy an PS3.

Its like hollywood movies sale but that dosent mean there "better".
FF7 was good enough a few gameplay/balanceing issues could have been delt with but all in all it equalized itself well,FF8 is a mess trash gameplay,screwed up equipment barely ok characters,settings the story was nice once you get to soak in ALL of it,all in all pretty fcked up from someone like square,FF9 was great....
FFX again "innovation" got the better of them the watered down equipment system thats handicapped half way threw the game the the seemingly watered down battle setup,lack of a over world basically FFX is a watered down FF in every right but story and even then it comes out to something like FF8s its not that good until you see all of it and sometimes you don't want to see all of it ,FF11 is evil one of the most strict and rule happy MMOs I have ever seen and now we have FF12 where a innovation double whammy has seemingly made the game into instant poo....
I have only played the game for a few hours at a friends house they are not done with hes trying not to play it by playing other games *L* from what I saw its weak and the new MMO style battle system running from polish and detail the games needs to shine.
I could be wrong but I doubt it even after I had a epiphany(sp) on FF8,its still hellisly weak compared to FF4,FF6 and FF7 ,FF6 shares a few "design issues" with FF7+ but FF6 made up for it in being a long and fun game,FF7 was good enough,FF8 was not fun,FF9 was great still the best all around FF,FFX was iffy,X2 more iffy but better than FF8,FF12 seems to be as iffy as FFX and X2 but tis jsut the sign of the times and the hollywoodization of gamedom IE designers that have more status than god that are pooing out iffy games that no one seems to question.

Zippy, its hard to take your post seriously when in all your posts lately you seem to be EXTREMELY bitter about everything. Also, earlier in this thread you said that FF7 was "great" and now you say its "good enough." Kinda of contradictory if you ask me. Also FFXIIs battle system is the best part of the game, usually the random battles break up the flow of games or if you are low on life random battles will kill ya but with the enemies walking around on screen you can avoid them or run past. Boss battles are more interesting because you have to actually have to think and use strategy instead of just sitting there pushing "X" every couple seconds to keep telling your characters to attack.

I still see no tact or stragedy in FF12s game play its more bland the FF 1-3's its more get to menu/push button as fast as you can.
as for FF7 I have mixed feeligns for it its a good game no doubt almsot great sometiems I am more forgiving of it,all in all it was a good solid game SO was FF6 there were a few things that annoyed me abotu FF 7 and 6 great or good they are better than FF8,FFX and F12 it seems, FF9 is like them in that good to great range it really depends on what you are looking at FF6 had great story and characters and great gameplay,FF7 had good characters and story good gameplay,FF9 had so so characters,ok story and great game paly.
I have seen MOF (monsters on filed) done better FF12 feels cheap and weak and you cant really avoid them when they want to fight you.
from what I have played of FF 12 the game play weak to the point of cheap and annoying.
