only prob i know will happen is screen scratching. if the click wheel is the scren then you'll constantly be rubbing the screen. they need to make the screen out of a more durable material then the current 5g ipod.

Miglia Technology today announced the release of a free software update for its EvolutionTV digital video recorder for the Mac. The version 2.6 update adds real-time video compression for the fifth-generation iPod as well as the Sony PSP. ?EvolutionTV is the only digital video recorder to offer real-time iPod encoding,? says Miglia. ?Real-time encoding removes the need to go through a software export step, a very lengthy operation.?

Apple releases iTunes update
Along with updates to its other Mac-only iLife applications, Apple yesterday released iTunes 6.0.3. According to the release notes, the update ?includes stability and performance improvements over iTunes 6.0.2.? A detailed list of changes was not provided. The update is available from Apple?s website for Windows and Mac users, and via the Mac OS X software update preference pane for Mac users.

i read the story about that pic. on ipodhacks.com and they said that according to the barcode # that it is a code for a Mac OS X v10.2 Server if the second # is an 8 and not a b.

Anyone hear about the Apple event at Cupertino on 2/28/06 Tuesday.
They are supposed to be relaeasing something new, probably not the new ipod video. Too early. It's most probably a MacBook with a 13" display replacing the old iBook. THe price is probably the same. I hope the release some new iPod accessories too. Anyone else know any details. Here's the link about the MacBook:
