soz guys, (in you your tut you said its ok to use DVD+R LOL)
Thanks for all ur help, im gonna go buy some DVD-R from the shops, any brands you'd recomend??????

ok, i now have the "unknown" xbox DVD-R in the drive.

i have FTP'd and opened the d drive to see what the disc looks like.

it comes up with in the D drive.. lots of random sighns like 9%jkn%(WFEFY&*EHFEY*(_&*(EHUF

im so happy................ instead of using qwix, i used craxtion 4, it was so easy to use and in worked, i now have working backups of my games!!!!!!! Go Craxtion!!!!, also, thanks for all ur help guys.

sorry guys, new problem, my friend has a modchip and he has a working backup of his FIFA 07 game. When he brought it over here and i put in, it said unknown? and when i went into my xbox file explorer and opened the D drive, DVD-rom, it was empty???? any ideas guys?

check if its a DVD-R or DVD+R cuz different versions of x-box's have different dvd drivers so some of them read DVD+R and some read DVD-R for example my x-box works with both DVD-R and DVD+R while my friend's x-box only works with dvd-r

well, your computer drive will read it...copy it to your computer, then burn it onto a DVD-R.

u need to create a cd image from the game ur using, to do this u need MagicISO, after u got MagicIso insert the disc into ur pc drive open MagicISO click on the option Make image file from cdrom, after u change the output format into standard ISO image file (.ISO), select the output file and click ok. After the image is on ur hdd just burn it again into a DVD-R

use DVD Decryptor, and rip it using Mode>ISO>Read

well magic iso is like a free version if that if he doesnt have DVD Decrypter
