Ive got the eloader working on the GTA. And teh downdater comes up on my savedata, its not corrupt or anything, but when i lod the eloader via GTA, it says the Eboot or whatever it is couldnt be started. Whats happened?

It's a hardware issue with PSPs that came factory with 2.5/2.6.
You don't need a video, just read the instructions and do it. If you really want one, there's one over at psphacking101.com.

The downgrade is not possible for the TA-082.
Is that like THE END for all the people with that board or is it like a temp thing that people will find a solution to?

im having the same problems that duroe1 had. the screen goes blank for a few seconds only, restarts, and says disk cannot be read. what am i doing wrong and where can i get an automatic downdater.

ok well i followed the steps and it didnt seem to work. Everything went fine but my screen only went black for a couple of seconds. Then it restarted and said disk error and when i rebooted and checked i still had 2.6
anyone know what might be wrong?
EDIT: i saw what duroe1 said. Where can i get the autoloader version?

This message is for the people that are hesitant to downgrade, if you follow instructions to the letter you will be ok(no bricked psp). I was initally using downgrader files someone had posted but it was just in zipped format. This is why I was running in to some problems intially(if you read my previous post you will know what I mean)I'm new to the scene, otherwise known as a noob and I was able to accomplish the downgrade. Hope this helps.

so i finally got it to work. now, when i try to play a umd disk from my 1.5 psp, i get the message "to start, you must update the system software." which i have already done.
whats wrong
