dvdxcopy reinstall problems

i had to reinstall dvdxcopy and now the program gets hung up and i get the (performed illegal operation and will be shut down. when i reinstalled the program i did not have to reregister the program. the program starts and when i hit start to read the dvd it goes to error. i tried to clean the registry of all files related to the 321 dvdxcopy program but still many attempts to reinstall and run the program will not allow me. i did have the program installed the first time and was running with some problems but i decided to reinstall. well hope i explained it so someone understands my problem.
