you can try using AnyDVD or dvd region+css free than you use dvd decryter and dvdfabdecryter. Or try ripit4me. I have never had a problem with any of these programs. The first two use must buy unless you know where to look to get them free. hope this helps good luck

Wait till Tuesday 3-13-07 when the movie comes out. Might be easier then.

You might want to try the new RipIt4Me beta Version 1.7.1.0 BETA (9 March, 2007).

I have the DVD of Casino Royale... my local video store rents movies a week before release. And when I try and rip it via DVD Decrypter, it just gives errors for both file mode and ISO mode.

Report card on Casino Royale.
I tried the usual list of Decrypter, Shrink, DVDFab Decrypter, and none of them were up to the task. No way. Then I tried RipIt4Me (first time) in the Wizard mode to observe what it was doing.
Da Bomb! Worked perfectly. My only complaint is a lack of action in the movie. lol.

For some reason Casino Royale won't do anything at all in my PC. I can't watch it, can't rip it, can't even see it under "my computer". The bonus disc worked when I rebooted the computer with it in the drive, but other then that nothing.
The disc works fine on my regular DVD player so I don't know.

Now by using this program you still have to use DVD Decryptor and Shrink correct? Because I tried my usual method of using DVDFab+Shrink and it worked until it came time to burn and I got some reallocation error from Nero. Is there a better burning program out there?

If you use RipIt4Me beta Version 1.7.1.0 BETA, then it will automatically run shrinkDVD to compress the movie and then it will just use DVD Decrypter to burn the movie. I used to use DVD Decrytor to rip then shrink DVD to rezize and then Nero to burn.
Now I just use DVD Decrypter to rip AND burn and use Shrink DVD to resize. It works great. RipIt4Me beta Version 1.7.1.0 BETA will load shrink dvd and decrypter for you.

@ PiZzA_BoY,
All u have to do is run the folder u ripped with DVDFab with VobBlanker or FIXvts before using shrink to fix the Nero problem

Sony is planting 100 of more files in every major film DVD now. Its distressing to see that AnyDVD, which people pay for, doesn't get the
movie down on the first day like they used to. Ripit4me and Fixvts are
becoming the way to get around Sony's ploy of keeping the disk from being recognized as a file. You start with Rip It For me, it moves
effortlessly to Fixvts, then to decryptor and a final program pops
up that sends it right to analysis for Shrink if you have Shrink open.
Very slick. The end product is the expected .iso. I don't think Decryptor has a burner, but it does work in tandem with other burners
that do not necessarily show themselves in the process.

@ 300bowler - Maybe my DVDFab Decrypter is out of date. I will check.
My main point is/was how effortless it was using RipIt4Me (even my first time). It took longer than what I am accustomed using the other tools, but the results were great.

I'm having trouble burning this to a dual layer. Here's what I've tried so far:
DVDFabDecrypter -> FixVTS -> Imgburn build ISO to hard drive -> Imgburn to DL DVD
Here I got a No Seek Complete error when finalizing the disc
Ripit4me -> Imgburn build ISO directly to DL DVD
Here I got some wierd Power Calibration Error at exactly 50%
I've burned plenty of DL's before, so I doubt there are any problems with my media and what not. I have the latest firmware for my nec 3540a. I had a question about the size of the iso...shouldn't it be something like 8.5 gigs (max size of a DL)? I seem to remember the size I was trying to burn was only 7.3 or so. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Oh, I should mention, I've already been able to shrink it and burn it to a single layer dvd using Ripit4me -> DVDShrink -> DVDDecrypter.
