NEED HALP PLEASE!
Could someone tell me if I could just swap a Pentium 4 - 3GHz - HT with an older Pentium 4 at 2GHz instantly?
That is at all default settings and everything.
Or should I make sure to turn off things like Hyper-Threading in the BIOS or something like that?
And also if a cooler is really needed without any overclocking and using any heavy programs and such?
Because I don't feel like completely reattaching the Zalman-cooler again.
Or else, if there is any way to test my processor in Safe Mode?
Because programs like SiSoft Sandra do just not work in Safe Mode...
And I don't really know any other program right away that does tests or whatever.

I don't see why you couldn't do that, but to be sure, clear the CMOS first, then you'll certainly be fine.

CMOS, what's that again? I know it's in the BIOS.
But would I lose any old settings?
And no cooler needed? Before I start frying stuff...

It's not actually, the BIOS is what it resets when you clear the CMOS, it's done by a jumper.

Clear the Cmos? By a jumper? To change a cpu? I didn't know that.
I can't find any server with that name. Did you guys do the update? I get a list of 467 servers. They are sort of alphabetical. What is the IP address of the server??

Plus before you join go to client settings and change your name from Player to Rich or harvdguy or wehatever, so we know who you are.

It was a cheater. Server now restarted with proper rules so we can get rid of people like that without having to shut the server down - wasn't your fault mate! Come join in again, which player name are you?
