So my cousin gave me a semi-broken PS2 Fat that he says is fixable. He has a working PS2 Slim so he doesn't need it anymore. I wanna fix it so I can do breaker pro/magic swap booting with it. What is wrong with it is that it's not giving me video. Audio works fine but I get nothing on the tv when it boots anything. Does anyone here have any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Dunno what YLOD is... the PS2 turns on and boots, I even get sound on the TV when it does. I just don't get picture/video on there.

ylod is ps3 isnt it? :/ have you tried a diff tv or cable? can you look at the tv-out for the ps2 and see if its damaged or something is stuck in it? you try puting a little pressure on the connect between the rca cable and the tv-out for the ps2 mine kinda needs to be positioned just right or it goes all messed up.

I've tried 3 different composite cables and a Monster Cable PS2 component cable, and I get the same problem every time. Full audio, no video.
