Uh, kingsora, you're wrong on the subtitles about Final Mix. Its English Audio with Japanese Subtitles, and there is no option to change the text. BTW, I have Final Mix

in regards of this : The second game you are referring to is not GBA, it is still PS2, but it was only released in Japan. However it has English menus and English subtitles.
No there IS A GAMEBOY ADVANCE game. I played it it's called Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories.. 2004 or 2005 like the person said and it's 100% english
It may be fairly rare though.. It's more a standard adventure/rpg of gameboy advance and has some of the scenes of Kingdom Hearts I in the beginning though low quality of course. I think it may be only available in europe

I'm mentioning this for those who wish to try to play the entire story even though the gba version is kinda lame :(

BASIC INFO FROM IGN :
The story from the PS2 game is extending on the Game Boy Advance with this RPG collaboration between Square-Enix, Disney, and GBA developer Jupiter. Sora, the Kingdom Hearts' hero from the first game, wanders into a castle where he and his companions, Donald and Goofy, realize their magic and skills, earned in the first game, have been completely stripped away. Sora must traverse the castle on his own this time. Donald and Goofy must stay behind, but they'll accommodate Sora during battles as special attack "cards." When Sora encounters a dark force, players are booted to a battle arena where he must wipe out the threat using his keyblade and special skills. The game's exploration portions take place in an isometric perspective, and require a bit of platform-style skill of jumping and climbing up ledges. It's up to players to battle enemies to collect cards that'll unlock doors to the next part of the map.

Well, all I know is that all three games (english) rock. I would sell this very comp. and my entire video game collection to work on Kingdom Hearts 3 that will hopefuly be on the ps3.

graffik: Dude, I said I owned CoM and agreed with AkiraFF that it gets rather boring and monotonous. I know CoM exists... However, that's the THIRD title of the series. The second is called Final Mix, which I guess is in English with Japanese subtitles. (got it mixed up I suppose)

HELP ON PHILS TRAINING-
I would like detailed info if possible how to get 1000 or more points including what keychain/combos i found no real way on this to get beyond like 350 and to complete the journal it demands 1000
I couldn't even manage it with fefnir takes way too many hits to destroy the vases in time alloted

Fenrir, no combo pluses equipped, negative combo equipped.
Hack and slash until you start seeing the big pots. Then you hit the big pots into the little pots and orbs galore will drop making it possible to get almost 2000. That's the only secret. Hit the pots into other pots...

I don't want to be the no-fun-girl here, but please read the previous posts before asking questions - it's annoying to answere the same questions over and over again though they have been answered just two pages or so ago.
@kingsora:
I wouldn't say that the Final Mix is the second game of the series... it's actually just an enhancement of the first one as you stated yourself. Just cause it might confuse people... ;)

I spose, but there is added storyline to it, so I think that merits it being the second title. I don't think it matters all that much, seeing as KHII is the 3rd (or even 4th depending on how you look at it) release of the series. They're not seeming to play by the ordinary game making rules if you ask me.
But... for the sake of sanity to our fellow members, Final Mix was not the official second title to the series, CoM was. :)

REREQUEST HELP on poster duty
Gamefaqs is useless for help on that. It refers to ficticios Air Dash Lv3 and commands you can't use more help on getting this in 30 seconds is greatly appreciated
Quick glide is not fast enough to get to locations nor is quick run what is the abilities needed for this?
I did get the pots barely with your info but would not work as it wa had to use magnera to put them in 1 area first I did reread the previous info here there was no help on this

This was also gone over previously in this very thread. AkiraFF asked you politely to read the thread before asking questions because it's quite annoying to say everything twice or more. (I'm telling you this because I know she'll get on your case...)
The main thing here is to find a good route. Most people like finding the sites where three posters sit nicely clumped together for the raping. I, myself, find this tactic to work quite nicely. You glide over to a poster and hit triangle to post a poster, as soon as it's done, you hit circle again to aerial dodge, then glide to the next. When the posters are clumped together, tap triangle fast and you'll post all three while staying in the air. After a good route is found, and these few techniques/abilities are acquired, the rest is just perfecting the routine. If done correctly, you'll touch land but once which is when you start the game. It took me about 10-20 tries to get this one, which was by far the most of any mini game.

You folkes ever read the kingdom of hearts Manga collection? basically the whole story of Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of memories. Little different though.
They might have kingdom of hearts 2 also but dunno
Not sure actual site for official info on it but do a websearch or check your local comic-shop

generally I have played both easy and hard mode i found no real differences in either except that the enemies seem to have 5-10 more hit points on the average. possibly the bosses more than that, however doubt it.
Unfortunatly regardless of the level the requirements to fill 'jimminis journal' is exactly the same. Proud mode however allows you to see the end special stuff, simply by completing all worlds other levels require completion of the journal.
I'm a final fantasy fan .. however not of the modern ones.. older pc ones and gba ones :) but they're fun.. The ps2 one i played in my opinion was extremely BOORING.

If you ask me - the hard mode is as easy as the "normal" mode for KH I - so anyone who managed to beat the first installment should easily be able to beat KH II in Hard Mode... ;)

Hey I did that! But yeah I got both kingdom hearts 1 and 2 on the first day they were released. Kingdom hearts 1 seemed to be a lot longer and harder then kh2. But I liked kh2 better anyways cause its just overall better the graphics, controlls, story, world (like tron and pirates of the carribian).

yea i agree with you m8 ^^ alot of people haven't given the second one enough credit...you can't always expect the sequel to present the same experience as the first because it is a continuation not a fresh start... on to my point the second one was good as a sequel in improving the fighting sequences, graphics, and continuing the storyline

Not to mention the slight change in company. The first one was made by Squaresoft anmd the second one was made by Square Enix. But I do think the second one is better but then again it's a lot newier then the first.
