haol1234,

Don't make multiple posts in a row and don't bump threads - both are in the forum rules you should've read. You need to be patient as nobady works here. All the help is done on people's free time.

You're gone for two weeks for doing exactly what I told not to do right after I said it.

Andy

Did you not see what I just said about posting right after yourself? Two-day suspension for that.

Ok i have a error 16 code on my friends xbox when i tryed to softmod it i guess it messed up and gave me a error 16. I tryed using slayer and auto installer to fix this and it didnt work work i dont think the microsoft logo even came on when i did it. i read on how to fix it and it said,

2. This is the more easy and newbie friendly strategy
-Get a friend with a modded xbox.
-Unlock his hdd with eeprom management from a slayer evo-x cd.
-Than, place his hdd in your xbox.
-Boot with your chip on.
-Now the xbox DOES find a dashboard when you boot in original mode and you can set the time in the msdashboard clock settings.
-Shut off xbox and remove your friends hdd
-PLace his hdd back in his xbox and lock it again
-Install your hdd
-(clock has been set) So boot up with slayer cd.
-Install normally whatever you wanna install
-lock hdd

Ok i have a question first the chip that i have was already installed so i wouldent no how to do that. 2nd do i supposed to unplug the cable off my hdd to his hdd and try it from there. 3rd after i'm done does this have any effect on my hdd if i do this. 4th after i'm done i supposed to lock his hdd so it would work now?

1. Take your xbox with a modchip in it, Unlock the Hard Drive, Place it in his Xbox.

2. It Should find your dashboard and clock settings, If not simply take your chip and put it in his xbox... Unless it soldered in your xbox =(. Putting your HDD in his xbox will not harm it in ant way.

3. If it happens to find the clock settings and such then it should be bootable, then just hotswap it to another xbox and use your Slayers Disc...Install your Unleash or w/e and have fun. I suggest installing the orginal Xbox Dash for safety.

4. This is How i did it in my xbox's and the ones i have fixed. If it doesnt work for you then dont give up cause this Error is easily fixable.
