i have a xbox with a x-ecuter multi bios x-killer and i tryed to flash the bios and it did not finish it got about 50% done and i turned the xbox off and now when i turn it on it turns off and on like three times and then the damn christmas lights go on and no pic or sound is shown.
how can i fix it???

on xbmc center i get a error code like this, "XBMC fatal error exception_access_violation (OXE0000005) at 0X00295be Init network using dept settings FTP server running on port 2".

i got my xbox second hand a couple of weeks ago and it would play some games and not others and with the games it did play it would cut out every now and again and say that it cannot read the disc make sure it is a game or audio cd or dvd or whatever.. and thats the same error that comes up with the games that dont work. the discs arnt scrated so i used a lense cleaner cd (with the little brushes on it) and now it wont run anything!! that error just comes up. please help!

I have a modded xbox and the other xbox i got has a error code 16 on it cause i fix the this with my chipped xbox in any kind of way i heard you can repair a xbox with a error code if you have a chipped one or a pc.

Hi,
I recently got a xbox from a friend, but it has the well known symptom "christmas lights". The box has been modded before, but
the mod is now removed and the box is still having these symptoms.
I have tried adding a new mod-chip "Aladdin XT Lite" and the lights
in the front have changed from blinking Red/Green to only blinking Green, but no screen nor audio.
The box is still doing the 3 times on/off doing the boot process, is the normal behaviours ???
Are this malfunction caused by a defective EEPROM or a defective TSOP bios flash ?? or just some missing data in the EEPROM ??
Please help !! Thanks..

sounds like the bios was messed up ur chip should fix the problem make sure you are flashing the chip correctly

Ok, that means the TSOP has to be flashed ?? can you recomment any sites ??

Hi There,
My XBOX have the 'Christmas Lights' symptom and I haven't found any ways of checking which part of the XBOX that is causing the malfunction.
I got the XBOX from a friend, so it has never been work for me, but I thought I would try to repair it. I got no sceens on the TV, so I can't see any error codes. But it seems a bit strange to me that the XBOX turn on and off 3 times before it actually starts, is this normal ?? but right after the 3 starts/stops the LED(light) in the front starts blinking GREEN/RED and keeps doing this forever.
Do any of you guys know what I'm going to do. I'm an electronic engineer, so I got some know-how for measuring if it's needed.
I got the eeprom.bin file and I've backed up my HDD.
Any help would be appreciated.. :-)

There might be someone who have some knowledge concerning this issue.
I'll still be working on finding the problem with box, it can't be that difficult... :-) but thanks again for taking you time to answer my questions.

nope, not at all, it only swithes on and off 3 times and then FRAGs.
(blinking RED and GREEN)
After alot readings about this issue, my personal conclusion is also that the BIOS is messed up. So next step is to reflash the
BIOS, the hard way, but do you know where I can find a BIOS file ??
What about the eeprom ?? it isn't nesserary to change this is it ??
