I use Nero 8. I did not try to shrink with dvdshrink and then burn with imgburn.
I just ended up in the same way as Royal Tee using DVDfab (main movie mode) and burning-shrinking with Nerorecode, without the long time of waiting then. I was planning on posting this solution, but Royal Tee was faster than I was. This just worked fine for me, and I got the result I wanted, so for the moment I won't be trying anything else, just for the worth of the try or to see what result I get, because I already wasted to many empty disks lol
Thank you everyone for the help, and keep up the good work !!!

It's been prominently posted on the forums. Nero 8 is not, and I emphasize is not a supported burner in DVD Shrink. Nero 7 was the last version that could be used with DVD Shrink for automatic burning.
There is an upgraded version of the DVD Shrink exe file that supports ImgBurn. Replace the original exe in Shrink and ImgBurn replaces DVD Decrypter as a supported burner (for burning automatically). I changed it out on my system and it works good.
With some of the newer DVDs that Shrink can't process the copy protection on, you will want to use DVDFab HD Decrypter and then open the files in Shrink. That's what you do with Recode (which has no decryption software). Using Recode instead of Shrink is an alternative, not a fix. And as I mentioned, Nero 8 isn't supported by Shrink. It's just a matter of what a person wants to use. For those not wanting to go with Nero, the ImgBurn and DVD Shrink, along with DVDFab HD Decrypter, can't be beat. They're free and do a good job.

Weel, thank you but this is wher emy bad English is starting to bother me a bit. I may sound like a dummy, but I can replace that original exe in shrink with another one I guess, but where can I find it ? I guess I am to dumb for it. I ask this just because I donot really use Nero, I do not like it that much.... Thanks

Hi PacMan. This sounds great. Where can we go get that new shrink exe file? I remember reading here and some other forums that there was a fake shrink updater out there and that shrink was never going to be updated again. I'm very interested in getting this and want to make sure it's a safe file from a safe freeware site also. Thnx.

I've used the modified Shrink with ImgBurn for some time and no problems. The only change from the original is that Shrink calls up ImgBurn when selected. As I mentioned before, ImgBurn replaces the DVD Decrypter burner ware option in Shrink.
Thanks for supplying the file Binkie. I would have sent them over to Fasfrank's site. I remember he's got a link for it.

Hi Binkie. Hi Pacman. I followed the readme note you had in there on how to hook up shrink w/Imgburn and it wouldn't do it. I did exactly what you said. I copied and pasted the zip file into the shrink folder in program files. Put a disc to burn. opened it up, hit backup and no Imgburn listed. If I missed something please help. Thnx.

Hi dr_ml422
Did you unzip the file 1st? You should be copying a dvdshrink 3.2.exe in the DVD Shrink folder.

Yes I unzipped it and that's how I got the readme file. If I open that file it's a dvdshrink wizard for version 0000 and it does the same as a regular shrink download asking you where you want it. I did that the first time and it was saved to my original shrink folder. what's wrong?

When you copied the .exe file in the DVD Shrink you should have received a windows pop up asking if you wanted to replace the file. Click yes and it should work.
Don't install it. The modified date on the file should be 3/21/06.
Try copy and pasting just the .exe again the dvd shrink folder.
If that doesn't work - then try uninstalling shrink and imgburn. Reinstall both then copy the .exe in the folder.
