First time burner on my iMac with 3 games, fingers crossed :)
I don't wanna be wastin' my Verbatims here... They're not even mine lol
Anyways, one massive edition you could make is a timer... I didn't know the burn would take so long lol :P
Oh and TY for the program... I'm just assuming that this is better then the X360 ISO Hacker? I don't know much, but this looks successful...

As you will soon find out, it takes about 45 minutes at 2.4x speed. Unfortunately Apple.DiscRecording Framework does not display estimated remaining time. growisofs may be a possibility, but unless I make some major changes Apple.DiscRecording Framework will not display remaining time.
I won't say wether or not OSx360 is better than X360 ISO Hacker, but check out the comments by users of X360 ISO Hacker vs. OSx360. Personally I never liked X360 ISO Hacker due to the fact that it modifies the disk image, but I think X360 ISO Hacker did a fine job when there were less options available.
I have made a decent program in less time with more functionality, and on top of that It burns Xbox 360 Disc Images the way they were meant to be burned. On top of that I have more plans for OSx360 to make it a similar program to it's PC counter-parts such as Xbox Backup Creator and XDVD Mulleter.
Try all your options out (iBurn360, X360 ISO Hacker and OSx360) and then you tell me what you like better.

Hey Wolfienuk,
so basically you would suggest not to use the Mashita built in Superdrive with the macbook to burn 360 dvds? Can you suggest a DVD rewriter which I should buy which would do the job I want it to do? Cheap and good as possible :-) Im located in the UK so preferably in £s
Im sick of wasting dvd +r dls :-(

i've used the built in matshita drive to burn my games and it has always worked fine. second comment, Osx360 is better cause it checks to see if the iso is stealthed patched or not. maybe Osx360 could patch them for you if the iso isn't patched? sounds good?

Already working on it. Main issue is the video partition. It will take a little time for the video portion, but ss/dmi/pfi patching should be available next release.

The matshita drive will work when used with high quality media, but for best results I would recommend an external pioneer or LG burner. It's up to you...

Anyone have a server where I can put up a secondary website? My host just told me that the server will be down for up to 12 hrs....
If someone can host me for about 50MB of storage for use during server downtimes, I would really appreciate the help. I just hate the fact that my server host didn't give much notice. Now my site's down and no one can download my software or even e-mail me...
On another note here are some of the changes that will be released for v1.0b4:
-Changed: About and Configuration Views is now seperate windows.
-Changed: Custom Layer Break is now a Combo Box with user selectable layer break settings (Xbox 360 and Wii).
-Changed: Toolbar now highlights selected item.
-Fixed: Text Field for Disc Image path now replaces current text on Drag and Drop.
-Added: New View to replace About View on startup. Dropping a file into the Image Well will open the file (and perform any open actions).
-Added: French Localization.
-Changed: Log Window Font Size and Style to support International Characters (UTF8), and fix fuzzy appearence of text on some displays. Also changed log marking to a more human readable format.
-Added: Ability to extract/inject SS/PFI/DMI files.

Hey, I'm probably just an idiot but does stealth checking currently work with the program? Just asking because I tried checking an iso I had, and nothing came up. I hit return, I even changed the image out and put another in, but none of the boxes filled up with any information. Please excuse my ignorance if this has already been addressed, but I was just wondering.

The text box where you drop or type is a file automatically checks everytime it is changed. You do not need to press return.
Either:
A) It is not a valid iso (Much has changed since the alpha version, and I have not put all the alert messages back in yet)
or
B) Verify on Open is disabled: Check your preferences.

Even without stealth, the backup disk image must at least have a valid SS to be playable. Why would you even burn a game without stealth any more. Is it an Xbox 1 Game?
The only real reason I put those options there is If for some reason the game fails stealth verification when it is actually valid.
Instead of disabling stealth verification, I would rather disable Require Stealth Verification so that the disc can be checked for a valid structure. You must be careful when burning a disc image that does not pass verification.

Thank you Wolfie. I turned Verify on Open on and it works great. I did have a question though, I know the other programs for mac force a layer break by modifying the image. The only downside to this I have found is that the iso is no longer able to be used in windows. Are there any other downsides that you know of to this method? I'm only asking because I do have 30 or so backups using this method, before I found your program.

X360 ISO Hacker modifies the disc image as you were saying. iBurn360 does not. In fact, using the growisofs Burn Method in OSx360 is the same as burning with iBurn360.
I don't know how stealth it is... The correct method set the layer break, which is the sector in which the disc goes from the first layer (layer0) to the second (layer1). If you physically look at the disc burned with this method, there is a small unwritten portion towards the outside of the disc. X360 ISO Hacker adds 0's to the end of the disk image supposedly forcing the layer break to be at that same spot. I have really not ever used X360 ISO Hacker other than for the sake of testing since there were better ways to do it on a pc,
Personally if it works, I wouldn't toss out the discs, but I wouldn't make any more discs that way.

Just so everyone knows, I will be slowly moving away from these forums at least for the sake of OSx360...
I have created a OSx360 forum on my site that can be accessed through the main page or directly at:
http://www.nukedsoftware.com/forum/
I have created topics for:
OSx360 Releases (where you will be able to view all releases and info about them)
OSx360 Feature Requests
OSx360 Bug Reports
OSx360 Help
Off-Topic Discussions
Please be sure to drop by and register... I will probably be on there most of the time, and it will be a lot easier than keeping tabs on multiple forums - which I am doing now. That means you will be able to get replies real quick and I can keep track of all the bug reports and requests.
Thanks again everyone, and I hope to see you there!

i dont think you csan manually set layer break on toast - which is the reason why no-one uses it.
you will just end up with coasters.
