Now I'm a little scared. So I followed all the directions and this is what I get when I ran the Firmware Creator.
Loading 1.50 firmware...ok
writing 1.50 firmware...ok
loading 3.52 firmware...ok
and now I am stuck on
writing 3.52 firmware...
for like 20 mins.
What should I do...it seems stuck.

Well the update didn't work for me and so I am still running 1.50. But now when I try to run the emulators it says "Game can not be loaded..."
Any idea on what I should do?

Quick question...
I'm succesfully set up on 3.52 M33-4, and have started following the instructions on how to upgrade to 3.71 M33.
I've run the updater from the PSP - it goes into the black screen and says it's preparing to install. Then after I press X, the PSP waits for a second and then goes back into the official firmware update screen (as opposed to staying in the black screen like last time).
Is this supposed to happen? I don't want to continue and actually have firmware 3.71 installed on my PSP!

Yes. Don't tell me you switched of your PSP. If you have Pandora's Battery then turning off your PSP isn't a problem.

Download the official 3.52 update: http://dj01.psp.update.playstation.org/u...069a5/EBOOT.PBP and rename to 352.PBP.
so does that i mean i cant finish the guide?
Just go to the official Sony site then download the 3.52 firmware file from there.

Anyways-
Ive got my 3.71M33-2 (yay!). Everythings good.
So, i went and i downloaded myself a manhunt 2 ISO. Stuck it in the ISO folder, and voila- It was there! Sweet...
*Clicks X* = PSP Logo.
Woot! (Gets excited)
The game can not be started (80020148)
Well then... i suppose i should go change my kernel to 3.71. :D
So i did. ...diddnt work. same message. :(
Why not mess with the CPU speed by checking every single option?
So i did. ...Diddnt work. Same message. :(
so. hmmm. There appears to be multible NO-UMD options. Sweet! lets check'em out - each one - with different CPU speeds on each - with different kernels. EVERY SINGLE KERNEL. Its been 3 hours and 12 minutes since i started... still nothing. ive tried every option imaginable.
There was a couple hundred seeders on the torrent for manhunt 2, complete with comments explaining how it worked amazingly - on 3.52M33. *sigh* ...Great.
I thought about downgrading, but i thout it would take to long, so i scrapped that idea.
Ive also found out how to un-censor the PSP version of manhunt by editing the ISO. so ive tried all the settings that i did with the normal ISO, but with an edited ISO. -Still no workage.
Im about to smash this thing... Any help would be appreciated man. :D
Thanks!
-Callum

Yeah.. I found out last night.. Bad file.. Fixed it with a proper download from psp hacks..
Well.. One cso (final fantasy tactics) works but another (final fantasy IX) doesn't. It started out as an .img. I converted to an iso with magic iso, and it isn't playing. For shits and giggles, I did it again, but converted it to a cso instead.. and it also isn't working.. Is the FFIX a bad file as well?

Thanks. I've tried that. After the last post, I converted it to a .bin with isobuster, then ran through popstation. It still didn't work.
