i went from 3.10 OE-A to 3.71 m33-3 with this giude with no problem but know iv downloaded digimon world 3 ps1 game and in the game when i go through some doors the game crashes iv downloaded the popsloader and tried all the pops but it still doesnt work anybody has any idea what i should do?

I'm trying to install 3.71 m33 but after 99% i'm getting an error saying failure to update and to contact sony and then the psp is bricked. Help me!

im on 3.52 M33 and trying to put the update 4 on when I run it from my memory card just get a black screen and then psp turns off!!

When I switch it back on still on 3.52 M33

Any Idea's??

Go into the recovery menu and make sure that you are running in the 3.52 kernal and not 1.5

Have tried both 1.5 & 3.52 kernal and get the same out come

goto dark-alex.org and over there click on m33 projects and download the update 3 and try performing that. make sure that you place the update folder in the game folder

syntax :
ms:\psp\game

Cheers...!

syntax :

Tried this and same outcome with kernal 1.50 and if kernal 3.52 get "game cannot be started error"

before putting the 150.PBP and 352.PBP THERE A also a pbp which name is EBOOT.PBP inside the M33CREATOR folder . Wat to do about the file(EBOOT.PBP) should i delete or leave it alone

no u should the 3 files together in that folder.

omg i downloaded the both link! but when i opened i both saw update and eboot.pbp! so i only copied 1 one them to psp>game>update just tought both are same! i started the update! but all i see is an empry black screen and hearing some noises! WHAT AM I GONNA DO NOW? and how long does this upgrade takes? it has been 10 minutes or so here....

PLEASE HELP

Then come back here and follow the guide. You could stay at 3.52 M33-4. You don't have to go to CFW 3.71...

Problem - THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED
(I tried couple of games, all of them worked on 3.52)

I have:
- 3.71 M33-3
- kernel patch
- game folder homebrew 3.71


Any suggestions?

Found a solution. Obviously an UMD should be in it all the time in order to run ISO. I didn't find that one in the manual :)

pls can some one help me with my bricked psp was on 3.40oe ,i just done t2 psp up to 3.71m33 fats so i thort ill do mine and i think i left usb in and it stoped loadin the program then i tried it again but it wouldnt work so i made a origanal pandora it re does flash and write files up 2 99%then says updating registry ;cannot write system dreg now all ive got is a blue screen of death i press o but it just comes back again what has happend to my psp i seem 2 remember somethink about flash but i dont no what thanks ,ady

lordfebo you dont need a umd just press select and choise sony np9660 in umd iso mode

Hey, thankyou all, SO MUCH!!!!!!

Ive been on 3.03 oe-c for like 4-5 months, probably longer. And Ive had no Idea what to do with all the new custom firmwares out there.
But Im not a doofus noobie, (Love my choice of words) and instead of making a whole new topic along the lines of,

HELP! 3,03oce Wat I do NOW!

I read and read, and read, and came across this alsome guide.... Thanks alot mate, and also to angle619, I never knew about any of that stuff(I.e. The select tool,) Thankyou all, again.

Hi, I am looking to upgrade my Sony PSP.. I have 3.52 m33-4 and am trying to get to 3.71 m33 . So if anyone knows how to do this please post it.. or you can email me at.. edited by ddp

please remove email address as this is not allowed as for you getting to 3.71m33 go to the first page of this guide it is there how you get to 3.71m33
