None of the codes work on a Sagem Dbox in the lanarkshire area :(
Please advise????
the codes are for service providers and areas.
for sagem et all try googling a sagem or whatever forum. i am sure the codes will work once you find the correct format for your specific box type.

sorry to bother ya fred i'm running Blade trinity final on n**ia d box 2 will this setting apply to this box and will it prevent me from manually transfering into keylist i think its getting out of hand couldn't be arsed to do this every night LOL :) hope theres some developing a programme to combat this N*L bs cheers in advance Originally posted by fred66: Originally posted by eoinf:
just waiting for a reboot to check. but can you explain AU what it is and setting it or otherwise
"AU" is in the cmd_cfg file which controls updates of your keys, if it is "00" then it is turned off, see all diff settings below (currently set to auto-update with {02}:
# AU
# 00 is ignored (default)
# 01 enable AU
# 02 AU Auto
A: { 02 }
Now auto-update may work for some images i.e they get the right keys while others get "bad" keys & loose reception..

Did you do a scan when it went down?
If so it could have scanned wrongly. Try again, or get a new service.xml file

I have several blade trinity final nokias on this setting and they are all fine. It does scan in bad codes again, but as long as a good one is there it is OK. My mate had it set to 01 and had more keys scanned in today than me. The autoscan is handy since you should only have 1 digit to enter.
People on {00} do you have to enter the entire codes?

hello guys n gals....got a Nokia d-box and last night most of the channels went off. after starting at number 1 and flicking through i have found only the channels that you would get on a freeview available.
three scans later and still the same. when i reboot it says Sportster.
What is a flash btw? Do i have to connect this to my computer and download something or is it just a matter of changing some codes? any help would be appreciated. I live in Gateshead Tyne and Wear if you need that info too. As you see im a total newbie...box was given to me about 6 months ago so no literature came with it
Thanks
Gords

I have just tried manual update as advice without any luck..
I was advised to change my code from (5401 00 067AF388D22415FD ; ROM7 AU Key Time Tue Apr 8 17:52:53 2008) however I have not got the codes you stated.
On mine I have 8 lines of codes ? I tried to change on of them however when I did change it and pressed the home button (so it prompts me to save) it did not ask me to save and then it revered back to its original number as if it?s locked for saving?
Code I was asked for to change does not seem to appear on my key-list N 5401 00 067AF388D22415FD ; ROM7 AU Key Time Tue Apr 8 17:52:53 2008
I was advised to change to this N 5401 00 067AF388D22415F5 ; ROM7 AU Key Time Tue Apr 8 17:52:53 2008?..but when I change it reverts back to it original code.
Any advised would be much appreciated.
I am new to this... I do have a cossover cable, but dont know where to start from.

yes they do, but I find it easier /faster to copy/past whole new keys in file on PC & send it over to dbox, as cable is always plugged in dbox & connection is on all time..! ;-)

Don't press the 'Home' button to exit, press the OK, it will then ask you to save changes and it will record your change. Then just reboot. This is simple and it works.

Can anybody explain to me how DBOX's which were previously autoupdating the keys suddenly stopped, did NTL's delivery mechanism change. If so then how did subbed boxes continue to work without being replaced?
Also when the new keys are posted, where do they come from, are the available from a subbed box?
