from another thread, it worked for me...

Can't really do a tut as there are so many different images out there, but will try to break it down a bit.
You need to be running evocamd.
If you use tuxbox commander and go to your keylist.txt file, don't open it just press 4 on the remote to edit it, delete everything from it. (Red button on most). Exit then save.
Restart box go to encrypted channel, then go back to keylist.txt file, make a note of the key in there. Delete it again, save and restart box again, this will create a new one, which will be slightly different, 2 digits will be different.
first example; abcdef0123456789
second time; abcdef0125456780
as you can see 2 of the digits are different, so i need to change one of the digits either the 5 or the 0 and replace it with whatever was in its place on the first go.
final example; abcdef0123456780
save file and reboot and it should work, if it didn't, i would have picked the wrong digit, so i would change the other digit and put back the first one i changed.
Have a go, its easier when you see it for yourself. You only have a choice of two to swap, its either one or the other.
(haven't turned autoupdate off as don't see no reason too)
Nice one. i got mine to work, i take it i have to do this until there is fix??

Thank you. Is there any mailing list or something for Cho4us Keys? I had a lot of trouble getting through to the forum today and it appears the admin don't look down too favourably to all these key request posts and threads.

Hi Guys,
Is it now the case that we constantly wait for the new code to be released daily in order to ensure our Dbox's are fully operational with all the channels or is there an auto update key that can do this for us based on the area?
Currently i am waiting for the new updated telewest keylist codes for that day before i can receive the service back from V*rg*n M#d.
any ideas?

N 5401 00 067AF388D224-0-5F5 ;ROM10 AU Key Time Wed Apr 9 02:01:04 2008
So I changed that "0" to "1" rebooted with only ROM7 enabled and it worked. Then the incorrect key was brought in since I was set to autoupdate. So now my keylist looks like
N 5401 01 7375C3CC596DDFFA ;ROM10 AU Key Time Wed Apr 9 02:01:04 2008
N 5401 00 067AF388D22415F5 ;ROM10 AU Key Time Wed Apr 9 02:01:04 2008
N 5401 00 067AF388D22415FD ;ROM7 AU Key Time Wed Apr 9 07:50:10 2008
So you can see the incorrect key is there, with the usual "D" at the end BUT the good one is still there and the box is working perfectly (Blade 4.0 AKA blade trinity final)
My camd_cfg is

What I find interesting is ROM7 keeps getting the same key and digit wrong. Now if I had say 3 roms enabled and they brought in the same 00 code with one digit wrong, then by a process of elimination I could figure out the correct code. Put the 3 incorrect keys under each other, and if the 3 keys have incorrect codes in different places then when one digit is wrong the other 2 will agree. Now if that could be done automatically it would fix the whole problem.
e.g.
ROM7 gives 1239
ROM10 gives 9234
ROM11 gives 1294
Then I can make the right code from those 3, look for 2 digits in agreement in the 3 lines, in this case the right code would be 1234
This method worked, it wasnt the ROM10 though just ROM7. As I mentioned yesterday my mates seemed to get a lot of codes in. HIs AU{01} on a nokia, evocam, blade trinity final. I had the correct codes at the same time as they were posted here. Another mate was able to figure them out, he had 3 or 4 incorrect codes. Another poster above was describing the same thing. You only need 2 codes, then you can make 2 guesses.
Which thread/site is usually first with the codes? I tried to post here yesterday but the system was extremely slow and refusing access, due to all the traffic.
Anyway, using this method you have no need to go on the internet at all. fixed in minutes. You don't even have to write anything down.
I would recommend being in tuxbox commander and refreshing. One you see a decent keylist.txt file size then pull the coax out, this should prevent you losing them. I have had codes and then see them go. Dunno if a setting can stop this.
When my codes come in wrong they tend to be the same though. So if they keys roll today
POST YOUR INCORRECT CODES.
All we need is 2 different ones to make a working keylist, from that we can check on the TV to see the correct key from all the variables.
e.g.
the correct key is 1AC4BB2D468053FB
say these 2 incorrect keys are posted
4-AC4BB2D468053FB
1AC4BB2D468053F-4
Now compare those 2. the central part is correct. So the possible keys are
4-AC4BB2D468053F-4
1-AC4BB2D468053F-B
Now if you put those 2 keys into my box it will work. Then I go to the blade menu and check the keys for current channel, then I know which one of the 2 is correct.
