Regarding codebreaker conversions. All codebreaker versions accept codes in raw format. There are also 2 types of encryptions that they have used. One for cbv1-6 and one for cbv7+. The newest encryption has not been cracked yet.
Codes that use the v1-6 encryption:
You can convert the codes to other formats.
You can convert other formats to this encryption.
Codes that use the v7+ encryption:
You can't convert the codes to other formats.
You can't convert other formats to this encryption.
If you have a game that uses cbv7+ codes, and you want to add codes, you have to create a new game, and add codes in raw format in order for it to work.
For example: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
This game has codebreaker codes that require cbv7+. If you hacked a code that you wanted to add to the codelist, you would have to create a new game file (name it GTA: Sandreas hacked codes, for example) and add codes in raw format.

1)You would create a new game file (add new game)
2)Type in the new (M) code - F0100208 0000000E
3)Add whatever codes you wanted
You can't add new codes to the codebreaker codes for this game. The device doesn't allow the v7+ encrypted codes to be added to with codes in raw format.
Now, even though you may have a cbv9 disc, most of the game codes on it are for games that use the cbv1-6 encryption.
For Final Fantasy X-2 (that's the game you are referring to, right?), it uses the cbv1-6 encryption, so you can convert other cheat devices' codes and add to the one's that codebreaker has hacked.

Thank you! Work has prevented me from getting here sooner.
I have the converter and just to be certain I would use it properly, I used the same codes in the left pane as I gave you, to see if I would get the same result on the right. (Source and Result)

By default the code you suggested "Use Action Replay 2 Coding Format 1456E7A5" was already displayed.
Next box, "Key Code" is empty. What might that be if it is necessary?
Then in "Source" and "Result" as you well know, there are drop down choices. I tried different ones and still can't come up with the same conversions as you included in your post. So you know what the next question is going to be...don't you? :D
Which ones are used for both of these to convert my original 1CA347CB 1455692C to your 2A2F1059 0001869F ?

ar2v2 uses 3 encryptions. They are:
